Thurman kind of sounds like Algieri, claiming to be better technically than Pacquiao and then WHAM! dropped six times like rag doll. Thurman will find out too that you can't measure a fighter like Pacquiao based on Boxing technique
Joshua has the edge with all he learned in the loss. He knows what to expect this time around as opposed to the first fight where he completely took Andy Ruiz for granted. That being said, what if he gets cracked to the side of the head again?
It’s kind of ridiculous for a boxer to be wearing a formal suit to promote a fight. We get it Manny, you’re a senator in your country (also kind of ridiculous by the way).
Here come the excuses, just like Lopez’ people said, another right prediction for Lopez sr. So much for all those “high tech” unorthodox training technics by the way, his body is falling apart.
It's sort of a win win for Mickey. If he does end up loosing or even stopped, everyone will agree it was too much of a size disadvantage and he can continue his career relatively unscathed by the loss.
All the ‘drug cheat’ haters seem to forget that he was completely clean in the second GGG fight and beat him straight up. GGG couldn’t back him up and landed only one good power punch in the fight
Tactics. GB also made an offer to Jacobs when GGG was holding out during the negotiations for the second fight. If it does end up happening it would be a shame, Munguia has potential down the line but needs improvement
GB have been trying to line Lemieux up for Canelo for years now. They know Canelo would knock him out in spectacular fashion. If Lemieux wasn’t such a bum he would have gotten the payday already.
Wow, Israel looks a division bigger. Gotta love watching choco because he looks less like a killer boxer than anyone in boxing, with his kind demeanor and pudginess, but once he starts moving inside that ring it’s just electrifying
Pacquiao's abilities have clearly diminished but more than that he fought the wrong fight. He needed to seriously respect Ugas' punches. He fought as if he could just run Ugas over and got completely frustrated and turned back. He needed to consistenlty move his head out of the jab and under the looping right hands: be more defensibly responsible and look for better spots close the distance and fire combinations. It's what he used to do and what made him brilliant. If you underestimate your opponent and fight straight on you're opening yourself up to getting shocked.
Cánelo doesn’t like him and doesn’t want to give him the big payday. That’s about it, the risk might be high but I don’t buy for a moment that he’s scared
Sorry Abel but you’re full of it. Before and after the first fight you said countless times that if Canelo traded he would get KO’d. You even Told GGG to knock him out after round 2 last Saturday
like the above post - as close as u can get “ majority decision” against Frampton in the 2nd fight!! That’s wat u call “boxing his pants off”? Lol!!!! Will put that one with Lsc hits “with some pop”!!!! R u actually picking LSC??? Man up and call it!!!
Am I missing something here? Beating the 2016 fighter of the year by ANY margin is a great feat, beating a boxer at his own game, a far cry from Santa Cruz being a total chump as you dudes were making him out to be. Santa is no chump and Davis hasn’t proven himself at the highest level. Period.
Lol Fulton has cojones, good on him! However he’s getting smacked around. He may think he’s too slick but he won’t be; he will get hit and his slickness will turn to survival mode. He, on the other hand, doesn’t have enough punching power to deter Inoue.
