I think Chino's strategy last Saturday was great, he just slowed down because of his stamina issue. Had he have the stamina of PAC or Bradley (prior to 2nd fight with PAC) he could of stay with Floyd all throughout the fight. Plus I truly believe that had he wore his usual gloves it would matter as far as the impact is concern compare to what he they made him use.
There was no way the commission was going to let him use those Used Light Blue gloves. They said no.
Its unbelievable he tried to use them.
Once everlast brought in gloves they were checked and approved.
Aside from the fact different gloves weren't gonna make him land cleaner shots.
Its always something to discredit a Floyd win
The NSAC did not approve the light blue gloves.

They approved the Everlast that were brought in.
Those are clearly unacceptable. They are either worn or padding removed.
I really don't think there is any order to the greatest of our generation. Manny, Floyd, Bhop and Roy are all greats, atgs. no point in saying who is better or greater
Oscar - SD win in which many were saying had Oscar thrown more jabs he wins the fight. Fight is over and Oscar is still confident looking pretty. When he fought Pac he quit and was like im done with this sport.
Hatton - Floyd stops him in 10, but does Ricky get dominated to the point of quitting? Pac hits him so hard it makes him retire. Please don't say Floyd warmed him up for the KO...The same exact shot puts Hatton to sleep even in 2006 and 2007. His charging style walks right in to Pac's bombs.
Cotto: Floyd didn't want to fight him. Pac does and klcks his ass
Margarito....Floyd doesn't want to fight him. He's to big....Pac kicks his ass
Floyd's father and uncle making comments such as there is no way this little dude can start at 108 and be knocking cats out at 147 or 154......This type of talk is inside the Mayweather camp.....Hell NAW....Aint no way he is doing this without steroids.....THATS FEAR
Fail, One everyone knows the sd was bull ****, they fought at 154, Floyd coming up, Floyd out landed him 43-21%, Way different de la hoya than a 145 weight drained DLH, who Roach said himself he doesn't have it anymore and should just retire before the fight. Hatton was dominated, Hatton is a warrior so he would never give up, yes Manny ko'd him with a very nice left he sat down on, Floyd knocked him silly with a check hook moving back.
Cotto and Marg both are represented by Arum. Floyd has not done business with Arum since he left him, due to Arum owing him money, right at the same time Arum offered Marg, Floyd laughed and fought lineal champ Baldonir, Arum offered Cotto a Floyd fight when they were both jww, cottos handlers said he was too green. It is odd to go from 108 to 154 maintain speed and power, maybe its all natural, maybe its not just looks suspect and even more suspect he won't take the test. Wanting to ensure you and another boxer are on even ground is not fear at all, nice try but fail
mad that he lost no, I never thought he would win, didn't think it would go ten rounds, no one should get hit like that with the ref standing there ready to stop the fight, did Smoger really need to make sure Roy was out
Both sides need to give up, manny will never take full random tests. Floyd just said in his interview we are just waiting, Pac signs to.fight Marquez. lets just move
I don't.care who the boxer is or was. it was no split second they looked at each other, before he threw. its non sense, I would be mad for any boxer being hit like that. Smoger.is known for letting boxers take unnecessary punishment. SMH at people who think that was ok .
Roy was fine and was talking normal after the fight was over. KOs happen. get used to it.
If Roy really wanted out, he could have easily gone down. Smoger gave him his chance, and immediately stopped it when it was too much.
When fighters are in serious trouble, Smoger always stops the fight.
get used to what, I been watching boxing since I was 6, lol get used to seeing knockouts?
Roy didn't know where he was, Smoger lets boxers take.more punishment then needed. it don't matter. I'm.not.gonna speak on it from here on out just SMH at the situation. have fun with the thread y'all.
lol at red k losers, get a life
yea he fought all the big names after recent devasting losses, a loss or at a weight class one had not fought at for 7 years and that was a catchweight to. He should had immediately rematched Marquez bottom line, not weight three years and bring him up just like mayweather did in which you all criticized, not I'm reading its ok for Marquez to step up to fight Pac, He doesn't want to fight Ortiz regardless of what the public thinks of how it would end, that fight makes the most sense behind Floyd and.before Bradley. there is more money, he's a Welter champ and a young warrior. Oh well I will tune in to watch it blow up in Arum and Pacs face
They will justify because of the controversy of the first two fights. Ill watch because I like JMM, plus Arum needs Pac to do better against Marquez because he failed to do so against Mosley
Failed thread and failed responses saying Khan can win by any means, Pac will hit Khan and he will knock him out, why do you guy put so.much into sparring, they wear head gear, which makes Khan do things in sparring and be braver then if they wear to fight in the ring
Here you go: http://www.boxingscene.com/marquez-diaz-fight-july-then-pacquiao-november--38958
I think once Pacquiao-Marquez III is officially made in the next couple of days/weeks, he'll announce his fight with David Diaz.
is he really not gonna.challenge himself again at another catchweight.
he has trouble with counter punchers, plain and simple, Floyd is the best counter puncher and the worse part about it is, he's got a better jab, and he leads with rights and left hooks. Floyd is a very bad style match up for Pac, and considering pacs leg problem against fighters with movement it makes it even worse.
I predicted Khan would beat maidana.
There is NO comparison between Pacquiao's power and Maidana. Maidana is heavy handed, pacquiao has explosive one punch power. And Maidana nearly knocked khan out.
At any moment of the fight a big shot from Pac could knock khan out. Any point from round 1 to however long it goes.
Manny will easily cut the.ring off against Khans ****ty foot work and Khan fades in the late.rounds, if he couldn't avoid Maidana or his punches, please explain how he avoids Mannys
the last part was not directed towards you dude, I agree with what you said just adding on
correct me.if I'm wrong but I don't believe he has since he left top rank and Arum, in fact you could base that as the reason he has never fought Marg and Cotto
hattOn was longtime 140lb lineal champ, undefeated at 140. How is the ortiz fight better than the hatton fight? Because what you just said is that ortiz has more credentials at 147 than hatton at 140
I said match up, not who had more credentials. so no I did not say that. Pac - Hatton was a terrible style match up, I see you don't disagree with the others I mentioned
Ortiz has 1 good win at ww and some questionable performances at jww, those are the facts, whether the fight is good or not.
Very talented fighter with the skills, who was a big up and comer until his set back. I do believe he should avenge his Maidana loss first, and he's not ready for Floyd, but he is tough for any boxer, he did beat 5 time defending champ Berto, regardless what anyone thinks of Berto that's a great win. Plus Ortiz is win/win huge payday with big ppv numbers and a Mayweather loss does not stall your career. he will still be a top contender if they fight and he subsequently loses. this match up is better than Pac - Clottey. Marg, DLH and Hatton.
apparently the ts has not read the story where Arum says Pac will never fight a golden boy fighter, so the tests are not an issue, Arum had no intentions on making the fight. he says it himself. Pac will never fight a golden boy fighter
Really good fight, Ortiz is an A class fighter, good southpaw tune up. and stop this non sense if Floyd ain't fighting Pac he should not fight, same could be said about Pac.
