I don't see who he can beat, he has no chance against Abril, Crawford is far too skill as well, Vasquez probably wipes him out as well maybe his best bet is the IBO title holder Yordan not seen him fight before perhaps Hearn could pay him to come over to Scotland. Who has the WBC title is it Figueroa or is he interim?
Rematch with Crawford for what??? It was easy work for Terence the fight wasn't even close I gave Burns 2-3 rounds max, Beltran deserves the title shot next seen as he should already have that belt around his waist
thank **** he didn't get the Mayweather fight the condescending cunt, Khan thinks hes a superstar when in reality hes a B level fighter with a decent fan base. I hope he get put to sleep again so he can **** off back to the domestic scene where he belongs :*******:
Khan isn't looking to fight anyone with any kind of punching power at all hes a straight *****, I bet he ends up against Alexander or some other feather fisted fighter cause biscuit chin scared he might get put to sleep again
well I just hope with Khan that he lasts a couple of rounds at least, if the Mayweather we saw against Ortiz shows up with the same aggression it could be a very early night for Khan.
The rehydration clause I have no sympathy with Angulo didn't they do some similar **** to Lara when he fought Angulo saying he could only go up 10 lbs and Angulo ended up going up to 175
Funny how people were saying nobody cares about Khan
and here is FLOYD BEGGING him to be on his under-card
LMAO
When has Floyd ever promised a fight to someone in such a manner?
Khans ego will be through the roof now, only Broner stands in the way of his dream
And i dont see nothing stopping Khan now, its destiny
Apart from his chin which is made of fine china, if broner lands big Khan's will be staring up at the Vegas lights like his fellow overhyped Brit Ricky Hatton
Cocaine is a powerful drug from what I saw of the Espinoza interview on thaboxingvoice it sounds like Khan might be in some legal trouble.
Beside all this Khan hasn't beat a live opponent in 3 years since he fought Judah hes 2-2 in his last 4 fights and he has no punch resistance. He gets hit easily with the straight right hand and the a left hook but hey as his fans say 'he got dat speed doh'
for the people asking why Maidana over Khan its pretty simple Khan hasn't won a big fight since 2011 and when Mayweather lands a straight right counter followed by a left hook its all she wrote. Khan doesn't have a bad chin its ****ing terrible Diaz had him all over the place and he isn't even a puncher. Mayweather while not a devastating punch still has a decent amount of pop if he Koed Hatton who was a lot more durable than Amir Con then I can only imagine how bad its going to get for him
Angulo seemed drained, his punches had no pop on them at all he just didn't look like the same fighter last night. Canelo did a great job all credit too him but style wise Angulo was tailor made for him. I saw Lara call him out afterwards and Canelo didn't want any of him I don't really blame him a super slick guy like Lara would give Canelo fits we have already seen he isn't exactly quick on his feet. Its a high risk low reward fight at the moment Laras best shot of getting the fight is to grow his fan base and make it impossible for team Canelo to turn the fight down. on a side note what the **** was Virgil doing he gave him some ****ty advice in the corner and offered literally nothing Angulo might as well have been on his own in the corner
what annoys me more is that we have to miss out on the Mares Gonzales rematch because showtime need a Hispanic fighter on FLoyds undercard to sell it to them on Cinco De Mayo. The politics of boxing really piss me off some times, Showtime say they want the best to fight eachoter so why don't the lean on their fighters to accept the big challenges. Seriously Khan hasn't beat anyone significant since Judah at least with Maidana hes on a 4 fight win streak and has a belt, he has a Mexican style so im sure he will get the Hispanics to buy the PPV with Mayweather.
The thing is..... the thing is.... the thing is..... man this dude is annoying as hell, Mayweather would absolutely school Danny and Angel and Danny both know that they are not exactly demanding the shot and hes talking some bs about how they want to stay at 140 and move up to 147 gradually. Floyd only got 3 fights left so he better hurry his ass up or this **** isn't going to happen at all
Could have fought GGG at 154 or Martinez at 154, Garcia at 147, Bradley (sure he would have left TR if he had a guarantee of the fight) Lara at 154 would have been the best fight see how FLoyd deals with a guy similar to himself in many areas. Hell id even have paid to see him and Andrade hes a southpaw and brings something different instead he chooses between relentless but limited Maidana or Glass chin no defence Amir Con Man
Khan named Broner,Alexander,Guerrero,Collonzo,Porter as his possible opponents, not sure what Big dogs you talking about. I'm pretty sure his next opponent won't be Collonzo it could very well be Guerrero or Alexander even Porter.
Collazo is a C level fighter period, Broner isn't happening neither is Guerrero cause of the lawsuit, fighting Alexander on the back of a loss is pointless, that leaves Porter out of that list. Thurman and Porter should be his main aims to fight even someone like Abregu could be interesting,
Berto v Alexander would be an awful clinch fest in my opinion, Berto a few years ago pre shoulder roll and when he wasn't so damn stiff was pretty entertaining now hes just a joke, Alexander is rarely in a good fight and is a notorious spoiler
Froch was forced to either rematch or vacate by the IBF, I seriously doubt he wanted the rematch. I think Groves takes the rematch he knows he can hurt The Cobra and if he is a bit more economical with his punches I fancy him by late KO I think in the first fight Groves was starting to gas out he either needs to better condition himself or manage his work rate in the fight.
Khan v Collazo
Broner v Molina
2 really poor fights in my opinion, Broner absolutely destroys Molina like De Marco did and Collazo just gets his ass out boxed all night long, Collazo isn't a good fighter and never has been sure he nearly beat Hatton that was mainly due to his size more than anything else and Victoria Ortiz just quit the ***** as *****. Schaffer may not be marinate but he sure as hell protects fighters this will be the 3rd C class fighter Khan will have faced consecutively, if he was ready for Mayweather then why isn't he ready for one of the big dogs at 147 (im not talking about AB :lol1:)
Collazo is a bum who has he beat? Victor Ortiz is shot to bits and didn't want it Collazo didn't even knock him down hard he just turned away and quit. If Khan fights Collazo its another cherry pick from him like Molina and Diaz were
Didn't the Cuban school of boxing come about during the Revolution when Castro came to prominence and he focused all the attention on sports, sending people all over Cuba to find the very best young athletix young kids and have them trained by former Cuban medallists setting up academies for the very best. It whats I can recall from a documentary I watched a long time ago I believe
Amir Khan is a flawed fighter who trys to sell the world on his so-called "blazing speed." Maidana tattooed him all night with rights and lefts. It took Briedus Prescott one round to destroy him. Just like Canelo's trainer said last week. "Nobody beats Floyd right now." The only person who can defeat Floyd is Floyd. If Floyd was severely knocked out and had a come back fight with a lightweight who had just lost, these internet cowards would be running their mouths. It already started when they thought Floyd chose Amir Khan. And even though I do not care for Amir, I think he has more credibility than the Brandon Rios "con job."
Khan has somehow convinced his loyal following that he is the 2nd coming of Sugar Ray and they lap it all up the fact is he is a quick fighter with a suspect chin an inability to follow a game plan as soon as he gets tagged hes in war mode he has little to no defence and he cant even block a left hook. He gets caught moving in and out of range constantly but hey he has that speed tho :lol1:
if the fight ever happens it should be at a catch weight, GGG is a 160lb fighter and Ward is 168lb fighter. GGG still have unfinished business at 160 and Ward got Dawson to come down for him. Its about time Ward made some sacrifices he doesn't seem keen to fight at light heavy against the like of Stevenson and Kovalev, GGG is probably the bigger attraction considering his style so if Ward should give something up if GGG is going to make concessions in his purse. GGG ducking Lara is pretty poor to be honest it could have dispelled some of the criticism surrounding him struggling with technical boxers. I don't know how much of it is down to networks tho. I wish fights could be make then networks bid on the right to show the fights rather than all this exclusive bs it robs the fans of what they want to see
I see what you're saying but being that it's a crossroads fight I think it will be a little more entertaining than you anticipate. Both need this fight, and taking into consideration the way Judah performed in his last fight it's easy to see which fight has the most entertainment value. Both Berto and Alexander are still young and peaking..
If the fight gets made I hope your right and it is entertaining if not I guess listening to Mr Whispers in the corner could provide some comedic relief in between rounds
Looks like it will be Maidana, Khan overplayed his hand and talked way to much bs in the media constantly. Maidana kept it low key and let Mayweather be the boss like he is accustomed to. The more **** Khan talks the less likely he is to get the fight in the future. I would love to be wrong and see Mayweather v Lara with an awesome undercard of Maidana v Khan 2 and Paulie v Broner 2 and Mares as well can see that selling amazingly well considering the fan bases of all the above mentioned fighters
How did you come to the conclusion when he hasnt even fought at 147?
Or maybe he feels stronger at the weight given he doesnt have to kill himself like when he first moved to 140 from 135.
im no expert but if it was the weight that was the problem wouldn't it be body shots putting him down rather than head shots? For me the whole struggling to make weight thing is just an excuse, I recall even Freddie Roach saying Khan was Chinny
If Floyd was a true Champion he would be fighting Erislandy Lara, that's the biggest challenge out there for him. Slick, fast has power has good counter punches southpaw. It is the fight he will never take, he would jump in with pacman so he doesn't have to go anywhere near Lara.
Luckily for Floyd only the hardcore boxing fans know who Lara is so for now he doesn't have to worry but if Lara can get a Canelo fight down the road and get some momentum behind him Mayweather better get the excuses ready.
Hell im a Mayweather fan but I know the biggest threat to him isn't GGG, Martinez, Garcia. Pacquiao or Bradley its the Cuban light middleweight
Khans chin has only failed him twice
odds are in his favor
Broners chin has many questions marks against it too, so dont be shocked if Khan drops him
Twice? Hes been put down numerous times, Gomez, Limmond, Prescott, Garcia, Diaz and he was put down in the amateurs as well. Is Khan even able to fight in September Ramadan runs until the start of August whats he going to do have a 4 week camp?
