I hope i never have to watch Clottey again. And i hope he never gets a World title fight again either. Retire Clottey, and let the fighters who want to fight, fight. :boxing:
Every Time Clottey threw an Uppercut Pacquiao's head nearly popped off.Thats what I saw last night

After seeing that last night, Clottey has gone well down in my estimations of him.
OK, Pac is a legend, but a MUCH smaller man than Clottey. Clottey was more interested in surviving the 12 rounds. A joke of a fighter. He should retire in shame. He was scared of getting KO'd by a one-time Flyweight!!
Where was the Clottey that fought Marg, Cotto, Judah and Corrales?
Bye, bye Clottey.
But, full marks to the Pacman, he did what he had to do with what was in front of him. Come on Pretty Boy, stop runnin'. :haha:
-Cold.
-Seat wasn't comfortable.
-Coffee wasn't right.
-Rich Tea instead of HobNobs.
-No red carpet.
Come on, don't be too hard on him - He hadnt had cock in ages. What a crying bitch! LOL
he was down on the scorecards b4 he got put down from that bodyshot
I know. But it was a lot closer than it should've been against a lot smaller man. Apart from the body shot, he was never hurt.
I know Hopkins likes smaller men to try and beat but this, surely not. Against Pacman? lol. Pacman would have a chance though. Oscar almost beat him.
I remember circa 1985?, Azumah Nelson came to the Uk to defend his WBC Featherweight title against Pat Cowdell. He iced Cowdell with one of the best upper-cuts i've ever seen.
Pat was down for approx 5 mins, and there were doubts he'd make a full recovery; thankfully he did.
A few come to mind:
Nelson v Cowdell; Curry v McCrory; Jackson v Graham; Who knocked Simon Brown out? - brown was still boxing when he was on his back!! :) any vids of that?
But the best one i seen was Hearns v Duran in 1984, when 'hands of stone' fell flat on his face.
Verno Phillips; Steve Cruz; Leon Spinks; Pinklon Thomas; john ruiz; oleg maskaev; rene jacquot; buster drayton; duane thomas; dennis andries; sultan ibragimov.
Many more i could think of given time...
Gotta b either: McClellan, Mugabi, Hearns, Julian Jackson or Benn. But that's from my era of mid 70's on. Can't speak for post-war till then.
If you include 154Ibs ers, then Terry Norris is in there too.
what a damn idiot - pavlik has looked poor every time he steps up i weight he looked poor at 170 against hopkins and he didn't look as strong at 166 against taylor. at 175 which is now calzaghes weight, joe would ust tee off him all night and give another lacy esque performance.
as for dawson, well lets say that he does beat dawson, whos to say the critics wont turn around and say that dawson is just another lacy.
LOL. Yeah this dude doesn't seem to know much about boxing. He might be looking for the Ultimate fighting webiste instead.
