To say Josh was holding back is an understatement, Pac was open and vulnerable all night, whenever Clottey threw (rarely) it landed, he even seemed to hurt Pac on occassion an did nothing to follow up

Pacquiao wasn't hurt. Not once. As for "open and vulnerable", it's not what I saw. It looked to me like he didn't give a shit about getting hit a few times. Clottey would lose 10/10.

*looks at your sig*
yea suuure, he could've beat him ...
what clottey needs to do is grow a pair of balls and throw punches..that's if he wants to win.
I too never saw any vulnerability in Pac. Just a pity he had a gutless fighter in front of him.

Well he certainly won't just stand there in front of FMJ like he did with Josh last night... Pac didn't move around as much in last nights fight as he did in his last 3 fights because he didn't have to waste the energy. Even though Josh was coming forward, he was covering up so Pac didn't have to worry about movement as much. All Pac had to do last night against a completely defensive fighter was overwhelm him with punches. Pac wasn't even throwing hard punches, just lots of them.
Some people saying because of last nights fight that they know FMJ would beat Pac. All I'm saying is it's silly to think that Pac would fight the same way against Floyd as he did with Clottey last night. Two totally different styles between the two and Pac knows it. I agree about the jab, and it was good to see Pac using it in this fight in the first few rounds. He will definately need to keep a good jab in a fight with FMJ.
some green k for you my friend

Pac wasn't open and vulnerable all night. You don't know shit about boxing.
Yeah , u might be right. I dont remember who it was last night that said , he doesnt have a champions mentality. And thats why he didnt find a way , cuz even tho he has the talent and the desire , he doesnt have the courage to JUST DO IT.
Have you saw the first round fight??? PAC landed right punch on clottey's face. i think clottey feel the sting, after that he never intended to brawl with pacman....... praised to clottey he is so intellegent fighter but much better if he pulls an upset.... se a bigger guy though.....

After seeing that last night, Clottey has gone well down in my estimations of him.
OK, Pac is a legend, but a MUCH smaller man than Clottey. Clottey was more interested in surviving the 12 rounds. A joke of a fighter. He should retire in shame. He was scared of getting KO'd by a one-time Flyweight!!
Where was the Clottey that fought Marg, Cotto, Judah and Corrales?
Bye, bye Clottey.
But, full marks to the Pacman, he did what he had to do with what was in front of him. Come on Pretty Boy, stop runnin'. :haha:
its always easy to comment while we watch the fight............................ BUT to actually do it in the ring is another story.
Pacman was like a machine..........
