i noticed that manny is reaching up to hit that rasheed guys face...
if i was roach i would say **** hitting oscars head, go to the body exclusively, maybe the odd shot over the top but thats it ....oscars chin is top notch so no way will lil pac knock him out...if he reaches up to the face his punches lose sting and he leaves himself vulnerable to counters, i know when i spar with big guys my coach tells me to drive the shots in to the body...if he does that enough he can wear oscar down for later too
just my opinion, i just think it would be really smart for manny to work the body exclusively and move constantly
+1
Manny have to wear Oscar down for the later rounds. I say, if Oscar can't finish Manny on or before the 8th round, Manny have a good chance winning the fight.
the part of the clip where manny was letting oscar throw punches into his mid section during the fight, i honestly think that manny wanted to see if he can take oscar's punches and if it have the 'sting' and to make sure that he doesn't get careless from the vaunted left of oscar
Hbo would make more money on PPV's if they didnt show the replay a week later, there are so many people who dont buy PPV's because they know they can watch for free the next week.
3-4 weeks should be good
Pacquiao have a chance of course, even if it is very slim.
It will all come down to who ever sticks to their own game plan. If Pacquiao have a very good game plan and sticks with it, he might just be able to pull an upset; if Oscar sticks to his, nighty-night Pacquiao.
Pac is nearing the end of his career and he's trying to milk money every way he can. He will enter Philippine politics when he's done with boxing and then he'll run for office in the US.

Relax dude....the post was a sarcasm.
Montiel ¿Shot & past his prime? C'MON!! Stop minimizing Donaire's great victory!! The last time Montiel lost was in 2006 against ex world champ Jhonny Gonzales by a contreversail split decision & before that was in 2003 against then world champion Mark"Too Sharp" Johnson by majority decision & this is ONLY Montiel's 3rd defeat & is the ONLY time he has EVER been KO'd!! Montiel unified the batamweight titles(WBO & WBC) by KNOCKING OUT & BREAKING then WBC world champion Hasegawa's JAW who was making his 10th defense & that was only 3 fights before this 1 & the 2 fights after Hasegawa, Montiel won by KO!!! A SHOT fighter that's PAST his prime wouldn't be able to accomplish that!!!
I want to see Pacquiao fight Hatton first, that'll be huge. And if he wins, the next and last fight before he retires, win or lose, for him is Mayweather, that'll be way way bigger.
roach is a very overated trainer man..he just happens to have 1 dedicated fighter.....
That's the key word in every trainer/ boxer relationship. If the student is not willing, the teacher can only do so much.
