Both will be confident of winning so 45/45 with the extra 10 going to the winner.
Roach is taking the magic away from Manny's wins with this catch weight bullshit.
Would Pacman be the same fighter if he wasn't with Roach? most certainly not.
Didn't look like Cotto had a good game plan and Roach always masters a game plan for Manny.
I wish that would happen. But have just heard it looks like Ricky will fight Marquez in 2010. Maybe after this fight Cotto fights the winner?
Talk of that yeah but Williams denied Hatton had plans to fight JMM next year. Hatton did say he wouldn't mind a fight with Cotto either.
I don't really want to see Hatton vs Cotto on their returns to the ring without a tune up though.
Wow. What the **** ever. That shit goes both ways (nh). Taste of your own damn medicine.
What? i have nothing against hit and hold, it's a part of boxing.
It's the douches (who are mostly americans by the way) who call european fighters bums if they hit and hold. Yet your own fighters do the same and are labeled as great fighters, he schooled him. blah blah blah
Against Ruiz we'll see Haye throwing bombs and looking to get Ruiz outta there asap. Against the K brothers i think we'll see a similar performance to the Valuev one. Haye won't be a sitting duck like the majority of the K's opponents so they'll have a tough time.
I see Haye ko'ing Wlad but being stopped by Vitali.
Wow didn't expect a pro to start posting here.
How you doing, training gone well? i'll be keeping an eye on your career and watching this weekend. Goodluck for the fight man.
He has the talent and ability, sp I see no reason why not. If he sticks to his game plan, and doesn't get hit who could beat him? he is the fastest fighter in boxing and now he has power.Still, it would be nice to see if he can take a punch now.
Depends how Ricky can deal with Khans punches. As seen from last night, I can't see Hatton taking many of those shots.
Pauli would take Khan the full 12 rounds, decision for Khan but still a tough fight.
Maidana, one dimensional but a big puncher. 9 times out of 10 Khan boxes his head off.
Has he improved? yes.
Is Salita on the same level as Khan? no, he is a poor fighter.
When Khan fights a fighter on the same level as himself, I'll give him credit. I see no reason why he can't be the top man in LWW division, seeing as Manny is a WW now. But he needs to fight these guys to prove it.
Salita decent? can anyone tell me who he has actually fought?
when Khan fights a decent fighter, i'll give credit.
At the moment, he fights a fighter who isn't good/same level and gets massive hype by a lot of people including Sky "Brilliant performance, are you ready to fight Jmm/Manny/Floyd/Hatton now.
Pathetic.
Khan would beat them all imo.
Vs Hatton - Khan wins by KO and gets credit but on the other hand he gets flamed for fighting past it fighter (if he wins)
Vs Maidana - Khan easily schools him, Maidana has power but nothing else.
Vs Pauli - Pauli can't hurt him but he also has a decent chin, i think a close fight with Khan winning a UD.
Im from UK and had never heard of salita,
But he was the mandatory challenger, and he also seemed to have a good pedigree ie wining the golden gloves and being undefeated.
So i would have to say Amir deserves a bit of credit he did what he had to do,
and did it very well.
His speed has always been there but the power was much improved.
Im from the UK too, and i haven't heard of Salita. Well, on a couple of undercards but that's it.
I know he had to fight him, but he gets so much hype over this win when infact, Salita is a poor fighter.
