For both Dawson and Cloud I think I would be satisfied if Dawson fought Pascal next (most likely in March) and Cloud landed a fight with Tarver. Tarver would get Cloud on Showtime and is at least a name in the division, then maybe he could get Dawson or the winner of Mack-Johnson. I may be a little sick but even a fight with Roy Jones would be a fight with big name for Cloud. Especially since Roy will insist on continuing to fight.
The way to prove what he's made of is to fight in places where he will be seen and against quality opponents. Not off in Venezuela against a nobody because we all know that's what he means by his statements. If he can go for a title shot immediately then that is what he should do. Also a rematch with Salgado is a way to prove his worth too and regenerate buzz about his career. I' already starting to dislike this guy.
If indeed it's true that Joe Calzaghe is coming back then I think it only makes sense for him to get on track to fight Lucien Bute. As far as Robin Reid ehhhh. A bigger comeback fight would be to get Kelly Pavlik to come up to 168 and fight him there. Talk about making some noise
I think its bs that THE MAN at 140 is being frozen out of everything and can't get a good fight. I actually like watching Bradley fight and was already a little bummed out that he has to wait until June for an open date to fight again (which I know he doesn't like as he wants to stay active) and now no one seems to want to face him. I was thinking about this when I read that (pinhead)Zab Judah turned him down (is it just me or has Judah turned into a scared lil bitch). I know Bradley probably has other options but I thought of 4 that I'd like to see.
1. Fight Valero in June. I know this fight has been talked about briefly and while I don't think "Scared of em' Arum was ever serious about it, I do think it would be an action packed fight. Arum is saying its early and they have plenty of time which is bs because at this moment he's already working on Foreman-Cotto for June, as well as Lopez-Conception. Then he's talking about Gamboa-Caballero for July. Bradley-Valero is not necessarily my favorite since I think Valero would be better off fighting Micheal Katsidis, Juan Manuel Marquez or even the pinhead Zab Judah before getting in the ring with Bradley. If they do end up doing this fight I wont object at all.
2. Fight JMM in June. For some reason I love this fight. IMO it has the makings of being like Chavez-Taylor 1(maybe not but what the hell). This fight would be different from the one with Khan as Marquez I believe would have the height and reach advantage slightly. JMM going for a 4th title in a 4th weight class is historic and to be doing it against the top junior welter would be a great storyline.
3. This one is by far has the smallest chance of happening, but go up to 147 and fight Berto. Berto-Bradley would be fun, its a chance to go for a title in a second weight class and to move up most peoples P4P list. Berto seems to love fighting 140 pounders so why not. I keep hearing people say that Bradley is with Showtime which makes this fight not possible but I didnt think Showtime still had fighters signed to exclusive contracts like HBO does. Maybe they do or maybe someone can shed some light on it. However I know for a fact that Shaw and Bradley wanted to get a fight earlier than June and since Showtime seemingly put them on the backburner and has them waiting until the middle of the year to fight I think Bradkey should be allowed to get what he can. Maybe some way some how they can be allowed to take this fight or perhaps negotiate some kind of buyout that makes Bradley a free agent when it comes to networks. I know all this is highly unlikely so as I said its a loooonnnngshot.
4. Finally I say just wait until the Alexander-Urango fight on March 6th and fight the winner. In fact they could be working on somekind of agreement now to fight the winner of that fight in June. March 6th until the 1st weekend in June is plenty of time tto get ready for a fight. This fight would unify 3 of the 4 alphabet titles, but most importantly would be a good fight. I would say this is my favorite and most realistic option.
Monte Barrett is a waste of time at this point. Honestly I'd rather see Tua fight Shannon Briggs instead. I realize Tua is fighting for low money but he's almost out of this bs deal with New Zealand tv or his promoter or whoever the **** up is over in his camp. With that said because of him taking low money for fights his people should be getting him on major PPV undercards here in the states. This would at least generate more buzz and exposure that way he can hit the ground running after all the bullshit. Personally I think his people should sit down with Top Rank and hash out a deal to fight Sam Peter on the undercard of one of their bigger fights on HBO like Cotto-Foreman or Gamboa-Caballero, or a Latin Fury ppv.
If Guerrero is out then it's cool if Maidana takes a stay busy fight 9/16. But after that the fight for him would be one against Soto. Thats a great fight and Soto is coming up and fighting at 140 soon. This would be a war
The simplest move for Schafaer would be to move the Mosley-Clottey fight to Showtime if Showtime would put up the money. HBO could do a split site doubleheader as someone mentioned before also. Another idea would be to go for a December 12th PPV. The reason i say this is because alot of fighters are trying to get fights before the end of the year but there aren't enough dates. It seems that right now both Goldenboy fighters and Don King fighters are the ones looking to get back in the ring but cant because of the networks and/or promoters. So why not GBP and DKP combine for a huge PPV similar to the one that DKP put out in December 2003 with 5 fights that included Judah,Spinks, Mayorga,and Hopkins. If they cant complete the deal for Mosley-Clottey then Spinks needs a fight and so would Mosley so head the PPV with Spinks-Mosley for Cory's title)this way Mosley keeps his title at 147 has a chance to reclaim one at 154 then opens up the option of fighting Williams at 154 or Berto at 147 early next year, depending on which title he decides to vacate). Do Devon Alexander-Nate Campbell for Alexander's belt. Victor Ortiz wants back in the ring so get him in with Vivian Harris. And any combination of other fights to make this a huge PPV.

Why keep releasing all this bullshit about Pac wanting to fight Mayweather sooo badly but then come with all these stipulations. Agree to the drug test and do the damn fight. At this point im not sure who I'd be interested in seeing Cotto fight. Berto would be ok. If Mosley wins tomorrow a rematch would be big in terms of money and name recognition. I may be a bit crazy but I think Cotto should sign to fight Paul Williams. IMO Williams has looked a bit vunerable in his last 2 fights. He's been inactive as of late and may be a bit rusty. It could be the right time to fight him and if Cotto where to win which I think he could it would raise his stock even higher than it is now. Like I said I could be wrong but that's just my feeling on it.

Personally I dont care to see any fight Maliggnaggi is involved in and I don't see the value in him getting any type of title shot. And **** him and his promoter with the bullshit about being an opponent! Its a fight, so do what you gotta do! Khan could/should fight Kendall Holt. Berto should be looking at Quintana. And I can't understand what the problem is with fighting Collazo again. I would also be interested in seeing Berto against Aydin, Spadafora or a returning Ricky Hatton.
