Isn't it obvious? You just said let Spence fight another prospect "but who am I kidding Haymon is protecting him" and I just showed you that he is in fact steping up next month, it's a legit fight for Spence. He's moving in the right direction.
Roberto garcia is a lawn mower guy, how the f&$# is that "killing my argument"?
:lol1: Natas schooling these dudes.
Stop nut riding that clown. He's not schooling shhhh.... Toney was fighting 12 times in '89. Show me where spence is fighting 12 times a year.
Tha Boxing Voice is my go to boxing podcast. Great show, characters as hosts & a ton of characters who call in. The main host, Ness, is pretty good at looking at both sides of a situation which is something seldom seen with most podcasts I've previously listened to which I enjoy. Bout the biggest problems with this show is its too damn long & sometimes the callers sound like their on Tracfones. Standard show tends to last 3hrs which can be a lil overwhelming if you aren't like me & listen to a million podcasts already as background noise.
Paulie M's new show is funny as **** (mostly cuz of Paulie's boy Petey who co-hosts) & provides some interesting insights on Paulie's previous fights as well as other notable fights. The recent story about that Asian cat who KTFO of Kirkland was great. Probably the only boxing podcast with regular booty discussions & sometimes they can go on & on about more mainstream sports which I really have zero interest in so sometimes my eyes can start glazing over, but all in all a great podcast that I look forward to each week.
Grantland Sports, The Ropes has slipped into the top 3 on my podcast hierarchy lately. Still a new-ish podcast like Paulie's too. Solid takes on the sport & great & timely guests. Last week they had on Abel Sanchez who talked about potentially having GGG fight Kovalev in the future & Willie Monroe who discussed his L to GGG. In the past they've have Joe Goosen, Paulie & many other names.

Cherry picking? The guy isn't a title holder, he isn't a challenger. He's an up & coming prospect working his way up the ranks. I guess you're new to boxing and haven't followed anyone's career from the very start before.
Sparring.
No one is protecting him, he's moving up fine as most all young fighters do. Again, you must be new to the sport. Look at Mike Tyson's first 15 opponents. Look at Pacquiao's first 15. Marquez. Bradley. Mosley. There is absolutely nothing wrong with how Spence is being brought up.
Not all fighters get spoon fed bums. Look at James Toney. Why are you talking like your his manager?? No more bullsh.itting. Just match up all the prospects and let the best will emerge.
I'm not bigging him up I'm calling it what it is - a step up in competition.
First you suggested he fights Maidana next (which is insanely retarded on multiple levels) and then suggested he fights a prospect. Well he's fighting a seasoned veteran who isn't a bum by any means (a bum is a guy off the street, like Deontay Wilder's early opponents) which is on par if not better than fighting some random prospect.
Point is Spence is moving in the right direction - competition is getting better and by the looks of things will continue that way. I'd expect to see him fight for a title within one year if he continues to look good. Again, look at the guys Thurman was fighting the first few years of his career. In comparison, Spence is already moving up faster than him.
Building up young talent is tricky business - you don't want to move them too fast and you also don't want them in with nothing but soft opposition. The match maker needs to know the fighter well, know when to step him up at the right time and what kind of fighters he needs experience against, etc. By the looks of things, Spence is moving in the right direction. People need to just chill and wait for the kid and watch him progress.
Why are you defending cherry picking?
If Spence is busting up Mayweather in sparring and KO'ing Broner in Mayweather's gym, let him fight the top guys. Stop protecting him. Spence himself said he would body Keith Thurman so match em up
A lawn mower guy? Hes won ten fights in a row, he just beat Prescott and Cayo. You just said you wanted him to fight a prospect. This is a solid opponent for Spence, it's a four star fight on boxrec. It's solid progression for Spence, just easily beat Vargas and now fighting Garcia on the Broner/Porter undercard. This is the proper way to move up a guy who just turned pro two years ago.
Ok, he's a bum who put together a lil winning streak. Why are you biggin' up this bum? foh
If duran made sugar ray do the skanky skank i find it hard to believe that he can't also put it on mayweathers lil ass....
All though i see mayweather potantionally boxing durians ears off.
Throw him in there with marcus maidena and we'll see if he is a-level. Broner and ortiz got chin checked. Lets see if errol can pass the test. Even mayweather struggled with el chino :p
So know it's about activity huh? Keep moving those goal posts. But while we're at it Spence fought 10 times in the first year of his career.
Let's recap:
1. Spence is moving along just fine for a prospect.
2. He's been very active.
3. You don't know shit about boxing.
Resorting to ad hominem, eh? Smh. You're a clown. foh. Talking like this ni.ggas manager and shhh..... I should earth yo ass on the G.P. muh fackr
Actually just let spence face another prospect... just do like the ole dayz and let the prospects cancel eachother out :D
But who am I kidding? Al haymon is protecting everyone's booty hole from getting stretched out. Sigh... :(
See my above post. Kinda killed your argument right there.
Listen, if a Haymon fighter WANTS to be moved quickly they will be, if they want to feast on bums like Santa Cruz they will be. Spence has said from the start he always had a pro style if fighting and he wants to be active and advance his career quickly. He's been doing that and his fight with Garcia is a very solid test.
How did your post kill my argument? Explain my dood.
Maybe YOU should look at James Toney. His 15th fight he fought a guy with a record of 7-15.
Look for yourself:
His 16th fight, which is how many fights Spence has, he fought a guy 18-4-1. For his 17th fight Toney fought a guy 6-6-2. For his 18th fight he fought a guy who was 1-0.
What a miserable example. Comparing the two, Spence has been moved more quickly than James Toney.
You've made it perfectly clear you have no concept of "prospect". 99.9% of fighters start their careers this way. Only super rare special occasions will you see guys move more quickly, like Lomachenko or Leon Spinks. Also more common in Japan.
I bet you thank Al Haymon every night before you go to bed.
Also toney was more active than spence, fighting 12 times in 1989. Stop defending bi.tch tactics. i should slap you on gp alone
Roc Nation next. These rappers think just because they have money, they can come into the fight game and head straight to the bank. Nope.
Competition is good.
