I'm not convinced one bit, who the flying fck has he fought? He's only a year or two younger than Thurman (who is criticised for his resume) and Thurman's resume eclipses his. His reputation seems to be solely based off of the Broner and Mayweather sparring reports.
Also I notice a lot of his fans on here are ex or former Broner hypemen looking for a new prospect :lol1:
Now he's facing another tomato can :nonono:
He looks decent but not ELITE, if you look at most of the elite boxers throughout history they usually had one attribute that seperated them, be it devastating power, blurring handpseed, iron chin or crazy stamina, I don't see nothing special in Spence, he's not that fast, his power is good but not devastating and will inevitably be less effective when he stops facing tomato cans, there's no wow factor with him. At least with Broner you could say he's got some really fast hands and Thurman is an explosive puncher.
I'm not impressed, AT ALL!
Resorting to ad hominem, eh? Smh. You're a clown. foh. Talking like this ni.ggas manager and shhh..... I should earth yo ass on the G.P. muh fackr
It's not ad hominem because it's the 100 percent truth. You don't know a damn thing about the sport and have never even trained a day in your life...
You are a worthless loser and you should go play kickball in traffic....Would do society and the human gene pool a big favor.
By the way all the people criticizing Errol Spence for lack of a resume after 16 fights need to look at how Canelo and GGG and Kovalev fought 16 fights into the Pro game.....Absolute bums
On this idiotic website if you are not within the .001 top percent level talent pool in the sport boxing you are considered a bum and a disgrace to the sport (which is ironic since most of the fools on here have never even trained before let alone fought)...So by those "standards" I'm not sure if he is overrated or not....He looks very good so far and he's a body punching Southpaw which is always a tough style to fight....He also fights in a much tougher division than Pascal and GGG do....
I think Maidana (at this point) would beat him...but Maidana IDk how Maidana would look against a good Southpaw since he lost 11 rounds to 1 to Devon Alexander...
I hate hyping up guys for no reason and until he beats someone who is world level, I'm not gonna call him the future, having said that, there is something beyond resume when judging a prospect and that is the "eye test". Imo, he passes it.
Not nut riding, he's actually schooling you. Unfortunately, you seem too dumb to realize it. Pay attention to him man, you might learn something.
Pay up your bets. 500 T for Degale-Dirrell.
Stop nut riding that clown. He's not schooling shhhh.... Toney was fighting 12 times in '89. Show me where spence is fighting 12 times a year.

Maybe YOU should look at James Toney. His 15th fight he fought a guy with a record of 7-15.
Look for yourself:

His 16th fight, which is how many fights Spence has, he fought a guy 18-4-1. For his 17th fight Toney fought a guy 6-6-2. For his 18th fight he fought a guy who was 1-0.
What a miserable example. Comparing the two, Spence has been moved more quickly than James Toney.
You've made it perfectly clear you have no concept of "prospect". 99.9% of fighters start their careers this way. Only super rare special occasions will you see guys move more quickly, like Lomachenko or Leon Spinks. Also more common in Japan.I think the Toney / Spence comparison you made is very good. Spence is being moved more quickly than a guy in Toney who went on to become an ATG. Perhaps because we see prospects on TV more often, people are more critical of their opposition. I remember seeing Roy Jones around his 6th fight and wondered what happened to him till I saw some footage of his 15th fight and wondered where he had been.
But in that period of time, Jones was not fighting top names every single fight either. Now that we are seeing almost every fight of some prospects on our TV sets, we automatically expect them to be facing a top guy every time but that wouldn't be realistic till they are main event status.
We have to be patient and wait till the time is right when they step up to the contender level opposition. And that takes time and your comparison of where Spence and Toney were at the 15th fight mark proves that.
I think by the time he has had 21 fights, he will have fought a couple solid contenders.
So know it's about activity huh? Keep moving those goal posts. But while we're at it Spence fought 10 times in the first year of his career.
Let's recap:
1. Spence is moving along just fine for a prospect.
2. He's been very active.
3. You don't know shit about boxing.

I bet you thank Al Haymon every night before you go to bed.
Also toney was more active than spence, fighting 12 times in 1989. Stop defending bi.tch tactics. i should slap you on gp alone
Cherry picking? The guy isn't a title holder, he isn't a challenger. He's an up & coming prospect working his way up the ranks. I guess you're new to boxing and haven't followed anyone's career from the very start before.
Sparring.
No one is protecting him, he's moving up fine as most all young fighters do. Again, you must be new to the sport. Look at Mike Tyson's first 15 opponents. Look at Pacquiao's first 15. Marquez. Bradley. Mosley. There is absolutely nothing wrong with how Spence is being brought up.
Not all fighters get spoon fed bums. Look at James Toney. Why are you talking like your his manager?? No more bullsh.itting. Just match up all the prospects and let the best will emerge.
The truth serum too much for you bruh.
You're a racist moron who obviously doesn't understand the word prospect. I'm amazed they still let you post.
I'd figure you went into suicide watch after the Pacquaio fight.
why............?
His chin is up in the air, too squared up, looks too stiff as well, almost- Alexander-ish, doesn't variate his attack from long range. It's only a matter of time before he gets chewed up and made to be irrelevant. Not hating or anything but I almost don't care because I don't see anything that makes him particularly entertaining to watch. At this point his fall looks inevitable.
