IMO None of the supersix match ups leaves one without pretty fair chances of win.. I'm betting on Kessler though.

Personally, I can't decide for a GOAT. The greats are the ones I'd reefer to when trying to teach boxing history to my kids.. There will be greats of today too, but somehow it's easier to get the perspective of it all looking 10+ years back in time.

Block punches with guard, low workrate and hit them like a mule back (punch last thing to go). If he lost his "pop" his style would get him nowhere.

He beat dirrell fairly and squarely..august the respected forum poster even changed his mind and accepted froch won by 3 rounds...in a scrappy fight.. 26 and 0, beaten robin reid, pascal, taylor and dirrell, the list continues... Its a worry when not one media outlet thought dirrell won even ea5t5ide boxing said froch won... I think you lot need to stop falling for froch clever wind ups and start respecting someone whos going to be a hall of famer... If you think Froch is a future HOF, isn't it a bit concerning he came this close to loosing, against the lowest rated fighter of the tourney?

Froch won with the smallest margin possible. some statements are legit. Answer my questions though: Why does Froch look like an amateur? Why did he struggle so much against a inexperienced Fighter like Dirrell? What was that funny walk he made at the end of round 10? Why the low connect ratio for Froch? Etc.. Why is it Froch wants the rest of his fights to be at home?

If Dirrell ran from a so so fighter in Froch, how much more will he run from AA and just try to pot shot his way to a victory? Can the smurf cut off the ring, can he make it ugly can he leap in bounds? What strategy should the smurf use? I know that AA has a lot more experience but he has never been on this side of the pond and now the home town cooking will be in the running mans favor and most likely he will be rewarded for basically doing what Dirrell does best. I might seriously consider picking Dirrell to win this match. Your thoughts. I think Dirrell is made for stealing rounds, and Abrahams has a rollercoaster workrate throug out the fight. He would need alot more determination than he showed against Froch thoug. He would need to fire his right hand a lot more than Taylor did. I believe he showed his late round stamina is up there with the best. It's possible, but I'm not sure his mature enough. I'm going for the AA stopage.

you still not given any decent reasons as to why dirrell won... Buncey had froch winning..the press at ringside had froch winning, even yank had froch winning... The judges had froch winning... Dirrell face was bruised and bloody yet froch diodnt have a scratch... Look at my sig ffs evidence alone that froch won... Froch wants us to compare him against the ATG's, and he coudn't do better than a SD against a green fighter. Legit win or not, Froch doesn't live up to his own mouth. My god was Dirrell going to get a beating.

Agreed, the action-cutting of the tv-show didn't help it.. Also the contender didn't produce any elite fighters. Boxingfights are won and lost by smaller margins than in the MMA, and it makes it impossible to find a "diamond in the rough", who isn't signed, and who hasn't already wasted to many important years of their carrer. Getting Bika and Soliman to appear in the show seemed like the best they could do. Though not consideret world-elite, they were rated high, and anyone of the "rough diamonds" who could impress against them, had to be taken seriosly. Noone could...

Not a hate thread. Everybody hated on Ottke for his defensive style, and low KO rate. But he had the exact same defensive style as that of Abraham. Damn, power does make a difference. What do you think? Stylewise, somewhat the same. But AA doesn't leave a doubt who won.

I like him to much. He had a tough time these last years, and it would brake my hart to see him end up as a punchingbag on top of that.

..I dont understand how everyone on this site refers to Kessler as some unstoppable force. The man is a pretty basic fighter with exceptionally surpassing skills in a few departments. BUT 1. He is nothing that can't be beaten by a good BOXER. Calzaghe boxed circles around this guy all night and stunned him once or twice i believe? 2. Ward is DEF no pushover.. He does not run he engages. He does not have the straight shot power that kessler has but the guy can bang and it wouldnt surprise me to see him drop Kessler in this one 3. A definite underdog with all the pressure to put a country a point up in a tourney, thats undefeated, with a powerhouse hometown crowd he has nothing to lose but a 0 and the world to gain in this one All in all i think people need to realize that this is not a legend fighting a prospect. These are 2 dominant world class forces meeting up and based on the lack of opposition on both sides this fight cannot be called a mismatch in kesslers favor the way it has been on here.. Mayorga by far. No matter who you compare to Froch, the result would be the same when it comes to skills.

I will be difficult for Dirrell to reach the semi's, his next opponent is another step up in competition.

lmaoooooooo arthor abraham looked shit.. The version of Taylor that fought Abraham would have owned Froch the last 5 rounds of their fight as well. And unlike Froch, Abraham was competitive all the way. Carl took a volume of punches to a tko, while Abraham knocked him out cold with one shoot.

Dirrell did suck in that fight, but Froch just outsucked him IMO.

doubt it, the closest youll get to beating froch is jermiane talors style.. a stand up fighter like ambraham that only fights in bursts will get tagged and dparked out by froch... Look at how crisp and direct Kesslers punches is compared to Froch Not to mention the difference in defense..

Not sure. If he get's beaten bad by Kessler, the rating would be based on very little evidence. How you rate his win over Miranda would be key question. If he get beaten but remains competitive through out the fight, it would still be his best performance. Because he hasn't done anything yet, Ward would need to beat one of the s6's before he can be considered A class. A win over Kessler would make him instant A+ in my book thoug.

Andre Ward is the Greatest of ALL time. I rate him among other greats like Ottke, and Valuev. Imagine what Ottke would do to Hopkins at 168! Hopkins would get Ottke'd

Yep it was luck, not talent, that got him the wins against Dirrell and Taylor.

lmaooooooooooooooo dirrell didnt even throw 239 punches let alone land them... Lol i was there at the fight...it was embarrasing to watch dirrell a skillful fighter not do anything... Ive seen fighters disqulified for less hlding than dirrell did... Face it froch beart dirrell, he beat taylor and he beat pascal... Ive won the debate with this video, plius that hook froch threw in the 8th was the best punch of the whole match... Froch will loose his next two fights and be out of the tourney though.
