Pac was on live TV saying March 13th was fine with him. It would be pretty weird to drop out now considering he can't even begin campaigning for the election until a much later date.
You have a link to where you got this from?
Whats going on with this Ariza guy??? I know he's the strengthen coach but what his story???
Was Diego Corrales's Strength and conditioning Coach back in 2000. Pac hired him when he moved up to Lightweight to face David Diaz. He's World renowned for his HIIT training methods.
I think they're waiting until the venue is announced. I read somewhere Arum expects the official announcement sometime this weekend after meeting with the Dallas, New Orleans and MGM officials. Also mentioned was the press conference will be held closer to the fight - not January as to give each fighter more time to train.
I don't get it, the guy used to walk in the ring for his 130 fights at 140+ now he's coming in the ring at 148 for his 145 fight.
All this fuss because the dude put on 8lbs in a year? Seriously? thats 8lbs when he's not trying to cut his weight unnaturally low during training.
Thats my take, his later 130 career was based on him cutting his weight down rather than pumping up a huge amount now.
I agree with this.
You would think the HBO 24/7 Camera team would have caught something during training camp if he was on a PED.
I'd like to know as well. If I remember correctly, MGM Garden Arena told me Ticketmaster would be handling the sales. I hope Ticketmaster has some sort of Email Alert System for this Fight.
Maybe his mom might have been old school filipina. If they catch you writing with your left hand as a kid, they'll slap your hand with a ruler. That's how my grandmother was anyways. I think it was bad luck or something superstitious like that.
I have a buddy who works over at EA. He told me ODLH is going to be available in 3 weight classes. I'm glad they're doing the different weight classes/same boxer thing again. Holyfield at LHW in FNR3 was faster with the same power as Holyfield at HW.
Ricky only looked flat because he did everything Roach and Pac's team expected him to do. It looked more like Ricky playing Checkers when the game was Chess.
I DONT AGREE WITH YOU... THIS IS FOR ALL THE MARBLES.. and will seal pacquaio's legacy as the one of the greats if he beats mayweather..
if he loses to mayweather then it's mayweather's legacy that is sealed..
the bigger the risks, the greater the reward..
Agreed. There is NO WAY this fight does not happen. Barring a miraculous and highly unlikely JMM win, Mayweather and Pacquiao are on a collision course.
Manny Pacquiao - His tagalog is just as bad as his english! (he does that loooooong pause between words in tagalog, too)
boxing wise - I don't really know since I overlook his errors. That's why I like to read NSB to get unbiased critiques of him.
Accroding to Iole, Arum was believed to be in direct contact with Haymon -

Arum is believed to have been speaking directly with Al Haymon, Mayweather’s adviser and de facto manager, in an effort to close the deal.
wanna bet?
bears are unbeatable.
if they hadn't already lost , they'd be undefeated.
billiards connection got turned into a korean church...... desoto got turned into a cvs......
it's like god has something against all the places i grew up in.
I haven't been to the Valley in awhile. I knew about BC but when did the Roscoe Desoto hall get turned into a CVS? Is Fantasia in Burbank and Pros in Glendale still up?
R.I.P. Sam.
I have lurked this site for 5 years mainly because I don't know as much about boxing as everyone here and look forward to what everyone brings to the table to educate me.
You were one of the posters I always looked forward to reading. My condolences to his family and friends.
