lefties can be ambidexterious because we all live in a righty society. I'm left handed but prefer to do many things with my right because I have done so for many years to fit in with society. I can right with both hands, but prefer left.
probably the same thing for pac.
What about the fact that Bobby fights southpaw as well? This is the biggest curiosity to me, as if they are both converted south paws. Or else maybe Bobby decided to emulate Manny or something?
look at the hand he signs with.

are you serious? that's fockin backwards as hell!
Actually this is the case all over E.Asia as far as I know (lefties being forcibly converted to righties). Certainly the case in China.
Also, the method for writing Chinese characters has something to do with it in the case of China, Japan etc.
Maybe his mom might have been old school filipina. If they catch you writing with your left hand as a kid, they'll slap your hand with a ruler. That's how my grandmother was anyways. I think it was bad luck or something superstitious like that.

I found this thread searching google about whether Manny is a righty, as I've heard he is.
Interesting that he is ambidextrous if that's the case.
My curiousity has to do with Philipino fighters, is it common for righties to fight sowthpaw handed? It seems I've heard that it is. Afterall Bobby Pacquiao also fights from the left-handed stance.

He told Mario Lopez that he is right-handed, only fights as a southpaw.
He also threw the darts with his right hand in England.
It's a little known fact about Pacquiao.
That explains why his right hook was so damn strong. Mother****ers is lucky he isn't left handed. Hatton might have died if he was.
