I had the fight even 114-114 with 4 swing rounds. Hear me out.. Watching it for the first time last night I assumed Pacquiao won atleast 9 rounds but watching it again without HBO's extremely bias commentary/scorecard this was a very close fight. Pacquiao's workrate was very very low and Bradley outworked and outboxed him half the fight. For example the first round, apart from the 4 left hands Manny landed at the end of the round what else did he do? Bradley controlled the action. Same with round 2. People never gave credit to Bradleys counterpunches, headmovement, a constant jab in Manny's face and general control for most of the round. Manny's legs are gone and it was cringing to watch him just slowly plod towards Bradley, he's basically a slugger now who fights in spurts. Whether this was attributed to Pacquiaos training camp and Alex's Arizas decision not to train Pacquiao as intensely (because of the leg cramps) or because of old age it showed in the fight bigtime. Pacquiaos power may have given him the slight edge but alot of his shots never landed, Jim Lampley as usual assumed the punch did land but watch it carefully and you'll see alot of them didnt. I implore you to watch it again without sound, and score it round by round. You'll be amazed how inactive Pacquiao was and how he got countered alot with quick hooks, hes merely a shadow of his former self. Add this to the fact that Bradley was practically immobilised because of two injured feet it doesnt look good for Pacquiao in the rematch. 1-2 Bradley... 9-12 Bradley, seriously just watch it without the sound. Its just like the Floyd Cotto fight, I was really watching the fight and had to mute the HBO COMMENTATORS.... Seriously guys just rewatch it without the sound... I swear you will come to the same conclusion... The judges are not listening to lampley and crew. Its just like the ortiz fight when lampley was giving ortiz props for hitting floyd when floyd was clearly and cleanly hitting him. I am not hating on pacquiao at all... But Pacquiao has been given a decision in his last fight. I honestly had it at a draw, but I could also see how it could go either way. Just like the 3rd Pac-JMM fight, i watched it a couple of times. 1st time i rewatched it, the tv was on, sound off, my back turn. Still 117-111 for Pac. 2nd time, tv off but the dvd is playing. last i checked cotto was always bigger than floyd. He was bigger than floyd at 140, 147, and you guess it 154 too. If i remember correctly that natural ww cotto turned down 6 mil to fight manny at 148 after the floyd fight. Not to mention he did also fight trout at 154 as well.
