33 year old 147 lb pillow punching Floyd Mayweather hits as hard as a 22 year old JMW?
:)
You do realize that is getting old right??? Lets look at floyds last 5 fights and I need you to explain why a man that punches as if he has pillows for hands, think Paulie Malignaggi, is not getting walked down.... Its just like Bradley people say he has no power, but obviously he has enough as hes undefeated and people arent just trying to bulldoze him.....
A grown man hitting you in the face hurts. Hell especially a grown man that has been trained to throw a punch.
I find it funny that most people that have never boxed talk about people have no power, but this same individual is undefeated
YOU CAN'T DO THIS AND ACHIEVE THIS WITH SIMPLY NO POWER...
five-division world champion, who has won eight world titles and the Lineal championship in three different weight classes. Mayweather is a two-time Ring Fighter of the Year (winning the award in 1998 and 2007); he also won the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA) Fighter of the Year award in 2007 and the Best Fighter ESPY Award in 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2012. He is undefeated as a professional boxer.
HELL PAULIE WOULD BE THE G.O.A.T.

WHEN YOUR K.O. RATE IS OVER 50% YOU CANT CALL THAT MAN A PILLOW FISTED FIGHTER......
YOU GUYS NEED TO STOP IT LOL
ALL THE ELITE FIGHTERS CAN BANG.....
Shane has taken way too many shots to the head. Canelo hits way harder and it's obvious.
He just didn't want to admit that the young lion beat him worse than Forrest
I think Canelo hits harder but Floyds punches just surprised the sh*t out of him most of the time in that fight, he looked like he didnt know what happened until a second after he was hit.
What shane is saying is not contradicting at all...... Just everyone calm down and think. What made him say that Manny hit super damn hard... It was those angles and the punches he didnt see coming. What about Floyd??? It was that he didnt see the punches coming, but they werent off weird angles...
plus take into account sharp crisp punches hurt. Accuracy hurts as well. With the ginger he lands and he has decent speed but you can basically brace for impact. People are acting like the ginger is knocking out the cottos, and Lara's of the world.... He's not beating martinez now hes fighting small men. Hes fighting much smaller guys, and as someone mentioned, he was catching shane with some good shots but they were much slower and shane saw them coming..
WHAT HURTS ARE THE ONES YOU DONT SEE COMING. Look at mannys destruction at the hands of Marquez.... Manny did not see that punch coming at all And more importantly it was a very, very accurate punch...
Floyd hits hard, but has the skills where he doesnt have to over rely on swarming and engaging often as he's accurate as hell and hes gonna hit you. Thats a fact....
So the reason shane said Manny hit him hard was because the angles didnt allow him to brace for the impact. And they hit him at angles he just has never seen before. Remember hes the one getting hit not you armchair bastards lol
Shane isnt with Golden boy or mayweather promotions, unless some recent developments just happened, so why would he be trying to promote???
Too late to say:
"inb4 the ATG backyard boxing warriors discredit Shane and say he's taken too many blows to the head. Canelo hits wayy harder from what I've seen on TV!".
?
Also while were on Baldomir, look at what Jim Lampley said about him being Floyds toughest challenge to date. Funny how now everyone is saying Baldomir was a push over.
Start @ :25
Canelo hits much harder. Baldimor took a ton of a prime Floyd's punches and never even blinked. Canelo hit Baldimor with one left hook and he was out cold. Canelo usually gets the KO and in his last 10 fights Floyd usually does not. Canelo is a natural 154 pounder and Floyd is really a welterweight. Mosley is getting hit so much lately I don't think he can tell one hard punch from another.
Floyd broke his hand in the Boldimir fight. (alot of fights he did.)

Also floyd is not reckless like that so he doesnt go just for a knock out because just getting the victory is whats important to him.
Hes a pure boxer
First of all, I like how Mosley admits he was shocked by the knockout. Most other boxers act like they were not surprised at all, which is total BS. Watching the two fight, it looks like Alvarez hits harder than Floyd. I don't know if Shane would lie, but I tend to lean toward what my eyes are telling me.
I'm hoping and praying this fight gets made so Canelo can shut the critics up!
wasn't baldomir in retirement and came out of his retirement for a pay day against alvarez?
Thats hard to believe, some of ginger's shots were moving shane quite a bit especially the bodyshots.
If i had to bet on it, Floyd probably got him with shots he wasn't expecting.
I say lets do the ortiz test, each gets a 2piece On Ortiz. I bet the Irish kid drops otiz in one punch.
I think he is mincing words in between thudding hard and punches with snap , when he says Floyd has good power he refers to the snap in the same breath , its a different kinda of power , Floyd MUST have some pop or the elite fighters he has faced would run right over him , he hits plenty hard enough for the style of fighter he is .
I think you touch on a great point there. If mayweather had no power whats to stop guys from just bowling over him. He's able to get respect from his opponents not through his flashy boxing skills, but probably from that fact that his punches leave a mark on his opponent.
The guy basically asked him if Canelo was going to be able to do what he did (buckling Mayweather) so that might have influenced his response.
Maybe he's being genuine but personally I think Mosley looked a lot more beat up after the Canelo bout. although he did a lot better in that fight than he did against FMJ.
or maybe, JUST MAYBE Canelo hits as hard as Mayweather...
Another quote from Shane "Pacquiao doesn't hit that hard, but when he hits you it buckles you."
Sad to say, but Shane has taken one too many punches.

I believe him. The level of opponent should be enough to agree. I simply don't see how anyone would try to argue different. Logically ginger has fought only 1 half decent jr middleweight his entire tenure there. He's supposed to look like a beast if he's fighting the likes of Josesito at 154. I bet Floyd would too & take a lot less punishment in the process.
Where have you been Bush? Long time no see...
Do you believe Shane when he said Manny Pacquiao hit him the hardest he ever been hit?
I actually thought he was throwing out a reason as to why he did so bad people would swallow that one and not question him , in this interview he said he was injured in Pacs fight , do you believe he was injured and thats why Manny won , being injured how come Manny could not walk through him , after all Shane only threw a few punches in the last half of the fight .
Funny thing about Mannys fights , they ALL got some weird sheeet going on like its all to a script .
He has a better one than you considering that he took the punches.

Baldy was a MW fighting Floyd and Floyd just moved and connected all night he was not trying to hit as hard as can , and this was probably prime Baldy , Canelo fought a shot Baldy and was a little bigger which make the exchange in power very different between the 2 fights , it all makes a difference , you cant just say look at what happened to a guy in such and such a fight comparing to another fight in time when the weights are very different , and also matters a lot the form the guy is in at the time , your assessment is face value only .
