I agree with you completely on the first two points. The thing is, does anybody deserve the fighter of the year award this year? No one has been truly awesome this year yet.
Should Dirrell beat Ward, I think he'll be a top candidate. That's two undefeated world champions he would've beaten.
A bigger joke is when you go on vacation instead of fighting cause you not thinking about BOXING. :twak:
Why bring up Mayweather in a thread that has nothing to do with him?
Well you did mention "bad for the sport".
Bad for the sport is refusing to prove you're steroid-free, when you're apparently #1.
Now, take your Mayweather hate elsewhere, genius.
Believe me, I blamed Pac the first time around for not taking the test. I hate and like everyone equally, so you fail.
The 2nd time it was all Floyd. Pac agreed to the testing, but now only cause Floyd wanted more money. Fighting Mosley than fighting Clottey is totally different and he shouldn't of based the PPV bullshit off that.
Mosley agreed to random blood testing up until the day of the fight, yet Pacquiao still wanted a cut-off date. If Mayweather and Mosley could do it, why not Pacquiao? He would prove he's 100% steroid-free.
Plus, it's not like Pacquiao is the bigger PPV star, anyway. Compare all of their PPV sales with similar opponents and you'll see that Mayweather did much better.
I want to see the fight too, but not before Hatton has proved he can still hack it in the ring against a decent opponent. Stepping out of 'retirement' straight into the ring with an atg would be a dumb move.
Good point.
Assuming this fight would happen at 140, Judah or Campbell would be good fighters to make a comeback against.
