He will have had two ridiculous fights, this year:
1) Against a fighter who imitated a wall and that robbed people of their money
2) Against a disgraced cheater, for a title neither deserves
The only bigger joke that could happen is him winning fighter of the year for 2010.
:Flush:
I agree with you completely on the first two points. The thing is, does anybody deserve the fighter of the year award this year? No one has been truly awesome this year yet.
Dmitry Pirog will get it! :boxing:
its funny how all these Floyd Gayweather fans or Manny Pacquiao haters are trying to find ways to spin the main reason why there is no fight between Manny and Floyd..........FLOYD does not want to fight Manny......Manny was ready and wanted the fight....he was there to negotiate and agree to what was asked during the first negotiations.....now tell me, what is wrong with agreeing with what was negotiated during the first attempt for a fight....if Manny had agreed to what was asked then....would there have been a fight ? I believe so...
so he has now agreed to what was asked on the first attempt...now its "off the table"...what the F@@k !!!!! :twak: why ??? why is it now off the table ?? one main reason...he does not want to fight Manny.....
yes he beat Mosley...he beat Mosley by points...he nearly got knocked down by Mosley...he was hanging on to Mosley's arm like a little boy who holds his daddy's arm to stop from getting a beat down....unfortunately..Mosley did not have it in him anymore...same way De Lahoya did not have it anymore against Manny...the DIFFERENCE....Manny beat down De Lahoya like he was supposed to beat down a fighter who did not have it anymore....Floyd out worked Mosley because he had more stamina and ...i will say it..was a younger fighter....
all you haters and Floyd nut huggers can try to spin this all you want...but the MAIN POINT IS THAT FLOYD WAS THE REASON THIS FIGHT DID NOT HAPPEN...AND HIS REASON IS THAT, AS A PRICE FIGHTER PROFESSIONAL BOXER, WHO'S LEGACY IS BEING PUT ON CHECK AND HIS MANHOOD IS BEING QUESTIONED..."IM ON VACATION RIGHT NOW AND IM NOT REALLY THINKING ABOUT BOXING"......
its like asking Kobe Bryant if he has a basketball court in his house and he says "nah, i don't think about playing when its not basketball season"....
I love how all the Pacquiao supporters criticize Floyd, yet fighting Shane Mosley at this juncture, counts for more than fighting Josh Clottey, and Margarito combined. And we all know Margarito isn't coming to fight. He's taking Arum's money to lose to Pacquiao. That is all. Floyd's win over Mosley trumps anything Pacquiao has done this year, or is going to do this year. And it's all Manny's fault. MAN-UP, and take the ****in' tests. Until then, it's Manny's fault this fight isn't being made. No matter how the Pactards slice it.
You mean to say most boxing experts and writers are die hard Pacquiao supporters since they're bashing Floyd right now.
It's alright, you're in the denial stage right now.
Just months from now you'll be in acceptance stage.

why blame manny that he is the reason why 2010 is a bad year for boxing?
1) Against a fighter who imitated a wall and that robbed people of their money
all fights of joshua were all competitive making all his opponents look beaten. when he fought the midget, how come that he did not engage in the fight, he was totally on defense mode throughout the fight. i guess joshua stated his reason for that kind of performance.
2) Against a disgraced cheater, for a title neither deserves
arum set up an alternate fight with margarito when floyd went on vacation. 'am sure this will be very competitive and a challenge to manny, fighting a lot bigger fighter at 150 catchweight. This catchweight is okay, but a catchweight title fight is b#ll sh#t.
think again bro, foty is awarded to a fighter based on how they performed during the fight especially against top and tough opponents. pac-clottey was a boring fight, why? i bet you know the reputation of joshua against bigger opponents, is it because the midget is too much to handle?
anyways, ts opinion is respected, but it does'nt mean i agree..peace:boxing:
hookers can also choose who they fukk, does'nt mean they are the bigger boss than the pimp!..........
lol so boxers are hookers now?
the definition of the word promote is to progress or give publicity to increase awareness . Arum would like to make you think he is the boss but all of his boxers could walk out and hire "boss" if they don't think he is doing a good job.
but they have to pay a fee for terminating the contract obviously
bob is a promoter..like the ownner of a product....boxers are products which the promoter is trying to sell......bob is the big boss not pac!
promoters don't own the product they are hired to promote it and they get compensated for the work. Boxers have the final say in the matter not promoters
Who was trying to sue Mayweather instead of fight with a 14 day cut off to random drug tests?
:lol1::lol1::lol1:
are you talking about the TRUE random or Floyd's own definition of random?
:lol1:
Why should you care? Your not getting any of it.
If a boxer is comfortable with their salary theres no need for others to judge.
what the hell are you talking about?
um...where's Floyd now?
too bad Floyd ran from Pacquiao straight up

Yeah, and too bad Manny ran from random drug testing.

Pacquiao pays Arum he is like his agent
in the sense that he takes a percentage of what he makes

No one seems to be representing Boxing in the year 2010. Timothy Bradley dont want to fight Devon alexander, Paul Williams dont want to fight Sergio Martinez, Floyd Mayweather dont want to fight Pacquiao, Madiana dont want to fight Ortiz etc.

1.) Pac did what he could and threw 1,331 punches at clottey. Heck, he even opened himself up in a vain attempt to entice clottey to go back to the fight. It was clottey who clearly messed up the fight, you said it so yourself AND YOU BLAME PAC?
2.) Both Mosley and Floyd are cheaters. Floyd felt he had to cheat weight against an old, shorter, blown up fighter and you apparently have no problem with that.
3.) Pac is still fighting. Floyd jr snubbed EVERYONE and walked away from most possibly the fight of the decade FOR NO APPARENT REASON.
And you say that Pac is being bad for boxing?
Wow.
Talk about living in your own world......
I think majority will agree with me that what Mayweather did was far worse for the sport.
Pac is now a congressman yet he still finds time to see him in the ring while Floyd is out there buying a 50k ipod and on vacation. Can you imagine that the now #1 P4P is on vacation when he was supposed to meet the #2 P4P.
Arum maybe an old b!tch but definitely Pac is a warrior.

Disagree.
Montiel went into Hasegawa's backyard and stopped him in impressive fashion, and he raped Concepcion.
If Bob Arum lets him get at Donaire, that could be an epic fight, but I doubt that will happen this year
