Since the Cotto fight likely won't happen, I think Berto is the next best choice.
He's undefeated and has been a welterweight champ for 2 years now. Not to mention he holds the WBC belt that Mayweather loves so much.
Sure, he's going to be a big underdog, but there's not many other fights Mayweather can make right now. Plus, he has a bigger name value than Clottey.
It would be a very good win for Mayweather and an amazing win for Berto.
What do you think?
I think u all shld get off mayweather penis and let dat man breath. when he decides to come back, then we shld talk about it. until then wtf talk about him 4?? he on vacation somewhere throwing money up in the air. phuq hiim.
Why face a opponent worse then the guy you just schooled. other than pacquiao at 147 no one else has much of a chance. 154 against Martinez or Williams would be fights just as good as taking on Pacquiao, it wont happen though.
no matter which way you slice it, berto is a better opponent than pacquaios upcoming opponent
pacfarts will use the excuse that "hes green and hasnt been tested yet"
but atleast hes not a cheater who hasnt done shit in 2 years and got knocked the **** out in his last big fight (by a guy mayweather tooled)
on top of that, hes undefeated, young and in his prime, and his last opponent was actually someone with a pulse, unlike marg's.
the cherry on the cake is that he actually HAS boxing skills, has good pop and speed, and isnt just some dumb brawler who blocks punches with his face that has 7 losses.
berto >>>> marg in every way possible as an opponent
floyd should fight him if he doesnt take martinez. berto or martinez are his best opponents (although when mayweather tools martinez pacfarts would say he was an old man). beating a prime undefeated lion like berto would look good on mayweathers resume...much better than adding a bum cheater who hasnt won a meaningful fight in 2 years and looked like shit in his last fight on your resume
That's a terrible fight by Flomo standards. The new Flomo protocol states that Manny can't be given credit for a fight when he is favored to win, he needs to move up to middleweight to challenge Martinez and/or Williams. So, obviously, the same criteria applies to Floyd.
Right?
Great fighters are supposed to be favored. What idiots on here say that pac's recent fights were terrible just because he's favored? I like like Martinez a lot more at 154 though belts don't matter to floyd anymore so the fact that Martinez doesn't have any hardware there doesn't matter. Plus Martinez is very comfortable at 154.
