Kessler is very beatable, he is big for the weight and judging by the calzaghe fight he doesn't take the body punches too well. Froch can beat him but at the same time Kessler can beat Froch. Abraham is a good fighter, good defense although the question is can he handle the power of the big punches at the higher weight. Kessler has done **** all since losing to Calzaghe although he has to be favourite. The bookmakers over here are idiots and I'm more than happy to take 11/4 odds on Kessler to win the whole thing.
I agree with you on this altho the first exception that springs to mind for me is Haye. The Eastern European fighters in particular always look very upright and stiff. For me personally in both the boxing clubs I've been to barely taught us any head movement which really pissed me off as I see it as an essential part of boxing particularly if you're going to be a counter puncher. Every region has their own style mind each with their own individual flaws
Less cocky? He's fighting C-level fighters, ducking Prescott and still talking hella shit. He doesn't want another rematch and is waiting for Prescott to turn old.
If you watch numerous interviews with Khan he always says how he wants to have the rematch with Prescott just to prove to himself he can beat him and eliminate any doubt. Khan wants the rematch but nobody else does purely because they can see how it is a pointless step back.
The tournament, which will consist of nine preliminary bouts followed by the semifinals and final, begins Oct. 10 and is supposed to finish in May or June of 2011.
Win or lose, the six fighters will each fight at least three times with the top four advancing to the semifinals based on their point totals. Fighters get two points for a win, an additional point if it's by knockout and one point for a draw. There are all sorts of contingencies for situations such as a no contest or a tie in points. Contractually, mandatory bouts cannot interfere with a tournament fight.
The tournament is scheduled to begin with a split-site doubleheader on Oct. 10. In England, Froch will face Dirrell and in Germany, Abraham will face Taylor.
On Nov. 7, probably in Oakland, Kessler will defend against Ward. Other matches include Abraham against Dirrell in January in the U.S.; Froch against Kessler in March in Europe; Ward against Taylor in spring 2010 in the U.S.; Ward facing his Olympic teammate in summer 2010 in the U.S.; Froch against Abraham in summer 2010 in Europe; and Kessler against Taylor in the U.S. in fall 2010.
The semifinals would take place in January 2011 with the final to be held in the U.S. in May or June.
Hope this helps fella's shame Froch an Kessler meet in the second round as I'd love to see them both in the final...could still happen depending on others results tho
Kessler always looks in shape in between fights I can't see any truth in him walking round at 200lbs. Kessler is my pick to win this but I think Arthur Abraham will shock a few people.
You got any sparring or fight vids of him mate? Its just although he looks incredible on the bag lots of people can but its a different stroy when you're in there with someone hiting you back. Thanks.
I don't remember him saying this and even if he did there is no way he is gonna stick to his word while he can still make millions off the backs of Calzaghe and Khan.
This fool looks like a very Lame version of Antonio Banderas.

He looks like Stelios who owns easyjet
At least Kid thunder has really fought professionally even if he has lost all his fights by KO all but once. Zelenoff has never even been in a real amateur boxing match with people actually attempting to hit him.
He will be one of the best but he definitely won't be the p4p king at any point and I expect him to suffer a few defeats during his career. I can actually see his career panning out a bit like Hatton's.
I know Zelenoff from another site but have never heard of kid thunder. Even still I can't see how anybody could be beaten by Zelenoff with his ****** windmill punches and crouching tiger style.
Actually he is MORE Jamaican than Canadian or British.
Whatever way you look at it Britain used to OWN both.
So essentially your thread is wank.:owned:
Not much more to say except :owned: and the fact he was born in Britain and lived there for 12 years makes him British.
:boxing: Rahman Vs Lewis II Just watching the fight again lol that was a sweet 2 punch combo, Ya gotta love it :boxing:
Yep fantastic KO which certainly proved the first fight was a fluke.
