What sparring partner would you reccomend to Cotto?

Amir Khan, he is the next Roach development, Manny 2 Khan has NO chin, Cotto would knock him out worse than Paq did to Hatton with a jab.

Why would you recommend Cotto spar with an orthodox fighter to prepair for a southpaw? He already faced a southpaw before why not work on speed/workrate/defense

Zab Cotto def needs to be in there with a mix of fighters with speed and power, and if he can manage it - both. If he spars with anyone that can show speed like Pac, he will be finely tuned against Manny. IMO this whole fight rests on how well Cotto's timing ability comes into play. Cotto hits hard enough to keep Mosley honest and he's not going to bone thin on fight night. If he repeatedly gets off first early, Pac will be discouraged from getting hit so hard.

I think Zab Judah would be perfect for Cotto Possibly JuanMa for speed and right hooks and high work rate. Judah is not a good match IMHO because he is not an offensive fighter with high work rate. Judah is a low work rate type of fighter who is more of a counter puncher.

I'd love to watch that but would lean towards Martinez, he seems to be ahead in every other department. Alot of people keep saying Paul would clean up 154, Martinez would be a serious problem for Paul Williams, people forget that. I agree, Martinez is not easy to hit.

Sergio Martinez > Carlos Quintana, can't use a guy you already beat. I mean, Pacquiao is gonna be a much harder opponent for Cotto, then Quintana was ofcourse. The real problem here is Pacquiao's foot speed/ hand speed, Quintana has both but not in the level of Sergio Martinez. Quintana vs Martinez at 154 would be a great match up.

i would say corley and zab but they wouldn't work with cotto they probably would do the favor for floyd since i think theres bad blood for cotto
