Haven't heard anything from him since the Jim Gray interview. Anyone know how his spirits are lately?

There was some kinda of press release where he was asking his fans to keep in touch with him the otfriends and f, other than that I think he's pretty much the same since the crash.
From the interview I posted above he seems happy and ok with his situation. He hunts and fishes and just enjoys life with friends and family.
Crazy thing was has was already retired but decided to do the Canelo fight for one more payday.

Who else was impressed by Kessler? Am I the only one who thinks Lacy will never fight him? I know Lucas is no Lacy, but darn he was taken to school. I think if Kessler can hold off Lacy's pressure in the early rounds he will easily win by UD or KO.
Lacy will fight anyone. I do think it would be a good fight though. And yes, i was impressed by Kessler today. I am, however, anxiously awaiting the day that he legitimately steps outside of Denmark though, other than once in Austrailia.
The problem is not Kesslers unwillingness to travel, it's his idiot promotors Mogens & Bettina Palle. They own their figthers and are too afraid to venture out where they have no control.
As I stated before I think Kessler will beat Lacy, but I'm not so sure that fight will happen. Lacy's people doesn't want it and unless Kessler signs with a US promotor and network the money wont be big enough for Lacy to be "forced" to take the fight.
Two great KO's. If you got more of Kessler please post them.
I keep telling people over here(in LA) that Kessler is the real deal. I can't wait for Lacy vs Kessler fight. I don't think it will happen though unless Kesller fights a few times in the US. There is simply not enough money in that fight for Lacy.
So my advice to Kessler is defend your title in Vegas a few times on the undercard of bigger fights. Show your talents to the American fans and you'll get Lacy very soon.
Kessler vs Joppy is a joke. Kessler is so much bigger than Joppy and would slaugther him. I do NOT want to see that fight. Joppy is shot and I don't want to him take such a one sided beating.
I love the idea of a US showcase fight for Kessler, but find a better opponent, please.

I admit I was one of teh Joe bashers. I thought he was a few years to old for this fight. I didn't think he could hold off Lacy. Man, I admit was I wrong.

I always thought it would be Kessler that would exposed Lacy for the really one dimensional figther he is. Anyway, now I want to see a Calzaghe vs Kessler unification. Don't think it will happen though.
All Kessler can do right now is to stay busy, hope for US exposure and wait for Calzaghe to vacate, then unify IBF or WBO. Nobody will fight him right now. Beyer will stay put in Germany and retire as champion.
I like every other fan want this fight to happen, but it wont.
Listen to what Mayweather is saying. He says Pacquiao wont be making $40 million as Money offered last time. Well you might as well kiss the fight goodbye right there. If the fight is gonna generate over $200 million there is no way anyone should accept what equals a 80-20 split if both parties are the reason for the record revenue. It's that simple.
Mayweather fans can yell duck by Pacquiao all the want but bottom line is that would be a stupid business decision and quit frankly either greedy/stupid/naive on Mayweathers part to demand that.
Mikkel Kessler was one of my favorite fighters. Loved his style, his heart, his honesty. A true gentleman. He was/is a Danish treasure and will be missed in the sport of boxing.
I'm glad he retired on his own terms.

I can't wait to hear what the Danes will say, because this pretty much means Calzaghe-Kessler is off for the moment.
Well, as a silent Danish Kessler fan I can only say I guess we'll see Taylor-Kessler in the future instead. Calzaghe win or lose against Taylor wont face Kessler and will most likely retire with a win, leaving the door open for Kessler-Taylor or Kessler-Lacy.
Too bad for Calzaghe, since not facing Kessler will leave a big question mark on his legacy. I really don't care as long as "The Viking Warrior" keeps unifying.
