Mikkel Kessler (38-0, 29 KOs) has raised the debate even stronger on who is the best super middleweight in the world when knocked out Markus Beyer (34-3-1, 13 KOs) in three rounds before a hometown crowd in the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Kessler, the WBA super middleweight champion, adds Beyer's WBC version with the win. Seen as the biggest threat to Joe Calzaghe, the owner of the IBF/WBO 168-pound titles, the unification win sets up a winner take all battle.

Kessler was in full control from the start of the fight, landing his jab and right like a drill. A big right hand in the third round ended the fight earlier than most expected. Kessler was yelling at ringside for Calzaghe to take his challenge.
