Well Paddy, Groves did everything better than Froch but sometimes that just isn't enough, Groves is a bit like Amir Khan All the skills in the world but when it comes to trading blows and fighting it out their both a little fragile.
That being said I expect him to win tonight.
This chapter is finished I am afraid he had his shot and then some and blew it, move on.
Groves showed Froch no respect as a fighter or a person in the lead up to both fights this is not an isolated thing he does it all the time he tries to belittle people and make them feel small, in the build up to the second fight he really showed his true coulors hes a nasty, vindictive, piece of work and I for one am glad he got comatose'd.
lol Groves thinks a full house makes you untouchable in poker what a noob as someone who plays poker everyday of my life in a competitive scene around the UK casinos I advise him don't quit the day job, Groves thinks he can win this fight with a full house well guess what froch just woke up with a royal flush ****er.
A Frank Warren WBO paper chump who had his title handed to him rather than winning it in the ring...gee that has never happened before.
Kovalev savages the paper chump.
Cleverly Got handed the belt because the ''Champion'' Juergen Braehmer failed to turn up a couple of days before the fight without any notification so rightfully he was stripped and the belt handed to Cleverly. Did you know this or ?
Decent punch? Yes Cleverly has outstanding KO ratio - that's a fact. Or is it?
His chin? He was rocked by light hitting Kusemsky - that's says a lot about his granite chin.
Kovalev by KO
I'd like to see all this posters predicting Clev win after this fight is over. I hope they pay due respect to the winner. I will surely do so if Cleverly wins.
I am no Cleverly fan I am a boxing fan, K/o ratio doesn't mean a fighter doesn't have power there are many different forms of power, also different level's of competition.
Carl Froch has the best if not one of the best chins in boxing yet he has been wobbled a few times that doesn't mean he hasn't got a good chin.
I look forward to seeing you on the forum after the fight, Just because I dislike a fighter doesn't mean I will root against him like most people on here I'm neutral in this fight And my neutral opinion is that Cleverly wins a UD or a late stoppage. Why so serious ? ..
Have people really forgotten how Cleverly was hurt by slow and feather fisted Kuziemski? Cleverly is (and has always been) trash and I expect Kovalev to destroy him with relative ease.
Have you ever seen him fight? Because the Russian actually has boxing skills.
Yes I've seen him fight he's decent but in my eyes Cleverly has a lot more to give He's miles faster has a decent punch, this along with his stamina, chin and output means I can't look past him in this one And I stand by my opinion that Kovalev can only win via knock out.
I actually really dislike Cleverly but this isn't going to cloud my judgment in picking this fight.

Already looking forward to seeing you eat you're own words, I don't like Cleverly in the slightest but to think Kovalev has anything besides a punchers chance is ridiculous.
To be honest looking at the videos of haye and pictures I'd say he wasn't really in the best of shape he certainly looks fleshy compared to his usual self.
This cut and circumstances just stink feel sorry for fury more then anyone dedicated months of his life to have it thrown away by you're opponent being a dumbass.
Biggest stars in boxing are hispanic and black americans so no wonder all the people you found were in these two groups...
It's like saying hey guys ! is there a black hockey player who got caught using steroids ?!
I disagree with what you said about the biggest stars in boxing being Hispanic and black Americans as to be fair the Europeans have had a bit of a monopoly in recent years although i do agree America has upped its game as of late but in my eyes only has 2 real stars Ala Mayweather and ward some will say Broner but he hasn't beat the best in his own division yet and bradley who lost his last fight if you be real.
Well i first started off looking at lists of boxers caught using steroids regardless of race and the more i read down the names the more i became confused as to why it seemed to be that majority were Mexican/ African American and very few white boxers caught.
Which got me thinking is it more a case of Steroids being more readily available in Mexico and the USA coupled with the high standard of testing and there being very few white boxers from either country is this the reason is seems that mostly black fighters get caught. This is my theory on that matter.
Also i am sure steroids are readily available in the UK and Europe as i have been offered them before in my local gym and i understand they are legal to buy in Romania and Legal to posses but not to distribute in the UK, being that there are a lot of white boxers from the UK and Europe is it a case that the testing in the UK and Europe really just isn't up to task.
fury wins this easy hes a lot more mobile these days with his weight loss and his improved condition just can't see a way for him to beat fury in any way shape or form
Vitali vs Haye will be signed next week then, Wouldn't surprise me, I think they will want to get him under a voluntary defense rather than a mandatory defense so they can call all the shots, If it goes to purse bids they might even end up fighting in the UK.
I think they realize haye was serious about getting into a mandatory position and if Vitali doesn't retire he will have to fight him regardless so it would be a better business decision to get it on his terms rather then Hearn/Haye's terms.
We will just have to wait and see...
I think there is a time and a place for talk like this from Groves but in the week leading up to the fight this is just plain disrespect from him towards Froch, I understand he's just after some publicity but it's bad timing.
Who's this guy kidding i hope a half decent Tony Thompson shows up to test price but even then he loses to any version of price shown so far i expect him to have a decent 2-3 rounds and then be battered.
This guy isn't going nowhere in boxing hes got no character, Hes fought literally no one of real quality, He's jumped a stacked division with solid, quality fighters in it to fight the perceived weakest champion in the welterweight division and yet he has this idea that hes the next big thing he hasn't fought anyone that can punish him when he makes a mistake, The people blowing smoke up his behind need to wake this kid up, He fights some top guys at 140 and he gets found out
Lets not forget Murray fought Sturm in his home town he fought Martinez in his home town of Argentina, An Englishman in Argentina fighting the nations hero is about as hostile environment as you will ever get, If he wasn't afraid to fight and in my opinion beat Martinez the lineal champion the best of the best I doubt he's afraid of Golovkin.
Im sorry but if the khan pre judah turns up and he trains hard and sticks to his boxing he will sh*t all over Broner, I remember saying months ago Khan should of been begging for the Broner fight to be made, I will however be very, very surprised if Broner stepped up to this fight I just can't see him taking it.
People here are mighty interested by the Fury's birthday.
I liked this article it gives you a nice insight as to what boxers sacrifice to get to the top.
Who the **** has fury ever beaten? A shot chisora and a cruiserweight that dropped him are his best wins. Haye's resume was way better than furys at this point in time.
A Shot Chisora ? Fury was the man to give Chisora his first loss, Fury would of been a lot more active if it wasn't for Haye pulling out twice.
I am sorry but any heavy that David haye beat was not as good as Chisora when Fury first beat him.
Fury is more deserving then any other current heavy thats for sure.
I don't understand everyone picking Martinez, He has had some hard, hard fight's vs average fighters In Barker, Macklin and Murray all of which had the chance to beat Martinez and blew it apart from Murray who clearly beat Martinez in my opinion.
Cotto has everything these guys had and more I am certain Cotto beats Martinez.
No with no headgear Khan can get knocked out in the Olympics too
16oz gloves bro 16oz gloves make a massive difference Khan would absolutely dominate in the Olympics
Garcia just beat judah better than Mayweather did... Im not sayin he wud beat Floyd but it won't be no walk in the park.
Did you really just say this ?? ... Floyd fought judah over 7 years ago
And this is why i dont like groves he has no loyalty what so ever he comes accross as so self centerd, this will be his fourth promotional outfit already, he really doesn't want that degale fight does he.
Funny how even Murray disagrees w/ u...
No one is referring to his humble nature. But he was directly asked whom he thought won the fight...His aanswer was "I did not do enough to win here tonight" If a fighter feels that way coming directly off of the fight moments beforehand. Then i don't know what to tell you. This fight was far from a robbery. Even w/ the 2nd KD murray did not win this contest. A man primed & geared to steal a vickie would've closed the show....not lose the final 2 rds. He was hurt in the 12 as well. You saw a beatdown...I did not. he gave a good account of himself that is all. knock it off.
I agree with one thing he said and that is he didn't think he did enough to win here (Argentina) but to be honest he had to knock Martinez out to win in Argentina. Do you think for one minute the Argentinians are going to let a English fighter come to their home town and get a decision never ever going to happen, I saw one ineffective fighter (Martinez) doing very little and one effective fighter (Murray) doing very little but doing more than the other I stand by my view that Murray won the fight.
