When has Floyd been unprofessional in the ring?
Where do I begin? How about sucker punching Victor Ortiz?? Joe Cortez was incompetent, but that was still the biggest sucker punch this side of James Butler.
Once again, that was all on Ortiz. No break was called both fighters were supposed to be boxing. Ortiz was hugging? Why cus hes an idiot
How about racist comments about Pacquiao? How about making fun of Freddy Roach's Parkinson's? How about going on off and yelling at his dad on 24/7? How about beating up his girlfriend in front of his kid? How about making fun of Diego Corrales for doing the same thing? Shall I continue?
No haha. Dont know anything about him beside being stopped by mayweather. Just a fun fookin word for me and allows me to express my fookin opinion without being fookin censored. And i need that since i havent gotten the biggest fookin vocabulary. You get what im fookin saying to you?!
Nice!! Good response, made me laugh.
His last fight was at 135...he is a natural 135lber I thought that was pretty obvious. He is jumping up 2 weight classes from his last fight. That's all that matters. I can also say that Spence KO'd Van Heerden at 154 pounds so technically he is a light Middleweight, it doesn't work like that. Both men fought at a higher weight than their last fight before but that doesn't matter. All that counts is where did they fight in their last fight and which weight class is their natural weight class. Mikey: Lightweight, Spence: Welterweight.
He had a legitimate belt at 140! Obviously he can and did compete there. Not just compete, win a title. This is not a 2 division jump, it's a 1 division jump.
That's mostly true but he also acts like a d**k outside of the ring. And Canelo is pretty boring himself. Who has he KO'd? James Kirkland, Liam Smith??
Well obviously that would suck, but He didn’t kill anyone so you STFU
So if someone goes into a movie theater and begins shooting but doesn't kill anyone, then that's ok??? You're an f'ing idiot.
When did America become so damn sensitive... phuck is wrong with this guy? He said he is a savage so what? How does that affect you??? Puzzy ass people I swear
STFU! What if he had killed your daughter, wife, husband, or brother? He just got lucky. He's not a savage he's an idiot.
GGG is a joke. He’s spent years ducking the Jacobs rematch and now he wants a 3rd shot at Canelo.
Hey GGG, fight Jacobs, many feel you lost to him already.
Spent years ducking a fight that happened in 2017?? You do realize he fought Canelo 6 months later right? And then fought Canelo again in 2018? Idiot.
GGG is 💯% right. No urgency, boring fight, glorified sparring session. 8 figure guaranteed contracts have taken away the passion and incentive. Why fight more than 1 or 2 times a year, and why lay it on the line when you do fight if you're going make a guaranteed 9 million dollars like Jacobs did. Boxing is killing itself.
Why is the discussion always about dragging a ufc fighter into a boxing ring? I love boxing, but if these guys really wanted to prove themselves, they'd step into the octagon. When you force a ufc fighter to box,you take away his kicks, knees, elbows, and his entire ground game. A boxer in the octagon would still have his boxing, but would have to contend with all other aspects of mma. By all means,if an mma fighter mouths off and disrespects boxing, his ass deserves to be humbled, but beating a guy who throws punches like a little kid is nothing to brag about.
I prefer boxing but I agree with you 💯%. Many more weapons to use in the cage and much fewer restrictions. Maybe when MMA fighters start getting paid like they should, we'll see more boxers crossover.
First, 10 years is a lifetime in boxing. At 30 , Thurman is in his prime and at 40 Pac's best days are behind him.
Second, before Thurman was hurt, he was undefeated and held the WBA, and WBC titles. Also he had just defeated the two top contenders, Porter and Garcia, back to back. How is that not proving himself?
First, Keith is on the wrong side of 30. This is not his prime. Fighters are their physical peak in their late 20's. Second, I was at the Porter fight. Could have gone either way. The less said about the Garcia fight the better. It was a bore fest and neither guy proved anything. Third, the PBC is completely incestuous. We really have no idea how good these guys are because they just keep fighting each other. The only one of the PBC welters who looks to be special is Spence...and Keith had refused to fight him for years! "Your time is coming, Youngblood." Remember that stupid line from Thurman?? He's never fighting Spence. This Pac fight is a cash out for Keith. He'll probably fight again, but at the ridiculously slow pace he's been fighting recently and he won't take on a real, in his prime challenge like Spence.
If a British fighter sells 70k in England, is he not popular because they are British? How bout a black American fighter selling 70k in America, would he not be popular because the people buying the tickets are American? Keep in mind that Canelo is selling 70k outside his home country and during a pandemic :boxing:
Outside his home country?! Hahaha. I guess you've never been to Texas. Or Arizona. Or New Mexico. Or California.
