It depends what Kessler turns up. If its the pre-Calzaghe Kessler then you would have to give him credit.. I personally dont feel that Froch could beat that fighter but if its the fighter that got battered by Ward then I dont think it will remove the question marks that are over Frochs head.
I have a feeling that Kessler's confidence isn't what it was and think he'll lose on points.

When Haye moved up to Heavyweight he said he didn't want to waste time with any bullshit fights and wanted a crack at the Klitschko's ASAP.

Anyway, I really dont understand why everyone is acting like Haye wont fight both of them? He is obviously going to fight them both so everyone needs to calm down and just wait for the fight to happen. I'm not saying he will beat them both but I do think he has a very good chance.
I respect that fact that Froch is fighting the bigger names now but what else is he going to do? He is in his 30's and has probably made peanuts compared to what he's getting for fights now. All I am saying is that he is not liked in England and that is backed up by the fact that his car keeps getting keyed in his own city. There is no way he would have beat Calzaghe and he barely got through his last 2 fights, so although he deserves respect for taking these fights please dont act like he has Mayweather ability and act like Haye is the next Audley Harrison.
Froch is on borrowed time just like Hatton.. the reality is he could quite easily lose to any fighter in that tournament and I dont think it would be a shock to any of us if he did.

I would guarantee that 95% of English people would rather have Haye represent our country than Froch. Haye will obviously fight the Klit brothers and regardless of if he beats them it's obvious he has more boxing ability than Froch.

Carl Froch never whines about purse splits or asks for money he doesn't deserve. He didn't refuse to fight in the tourney because he was the WBC Champion and deserved more than everyone else. If he had to have 2 rematches against Dirrell and Dirrell's brother he would sign the contract and say "I'll kick their asses on the same night"
David Haye might have more talent than Carl Froch but Froch is a true fighter with a champion's will. There is no doubt which guy a sensible boxing fan should rather support.

Not aimed at you Slim but just a general thought. Anyway back to what you said.. You can talk about Haye's previous fights at Heavyweight but the reality is he hasn't been in the division long. Although he has a big mouth you cant expect him to move up in weight and fight 2 people who have been competitive in a division for over 10 years. Also, look at Frochs last 2 fights. If Taylor was able to last 12 rounds (which he is renound for not being able to do) Froch would have lost. He won that fight by the skin of his teeth and although I had Froch slightly ahead in the Dirrell fight, he barely won that too. I give him and any of the fighters credit for being in the super 6 but he had no alternative if he wants to make a name for himself in that division.
The reality is that Haye is by far the more popular fighter in England.. i'm not sure if you're from Nottingham but from my experience most people dislike him. Haye appeals to the casual fan and it is a big deal when he fights even if it is against a fighter of Ruiz' callibre. Most people in England wont even know when Froch is fighting and the one's that do want to see him get knocked out. This is just my opinion, I know you're a fan and may not agree but there you go. I dont think you would see David Haye's car getting keyed in London or anywhere else round the country for that matter.

It makes absolutely no sense to have this fight in the U.S because they would be very lucky to get 10,000 people in there. Logical thing to do would be having it in Europe (possibly Sweden as it's neutral) and have U.S judges.
I am English and cannot stand Froch but think that in a neutral venue Froch wins this.
Been coming on this website for years but never posted before. Think most of you are missing what happens here. Chris Jr is obviously getting the better of the person he's fighting, then the friend of the person who is getting beaten up hits Chris Jr. Stamping on someones head is harsh but at the same time you don't get involved on a 1 on 1 and not expect to have their friends get involved. At least these people are settling their problem with a fight and not using weapons like most of the sh!t heads in England nowdays.
Just my take on things.
No fighting would be better, or keeping it in the ring would be an idea. But like you said at least they were using their fists rather than knives which is the real problem here in england.
Of course settling something in a ring would be the best thing to do but it's not realistic. If you're from England you know exactly how bad things are there and half of these idiots can't settle a problem without sticking a knife in someone.

Mitchell has a very bright future and Paulie is going to have nowhere to go after he gets beat by Khan. I usually like Paulies banter and I can understand why he has responded but I think he believes he is bigger than he actually is. Only problem with having this fight at a big venue will be the fact that the place will be half empty. Nobody in London wants to see this bum fight.
