Ricky Hatton continues to dream of a rematch with Floyd Mayweather Jr. Hatton has been dreaming of a rematch since Mayweather handed him his first career loss, by knockout, in December 2007. Hatton has not fought since last year's brutal knockout loss to Manny Pacquiao. He says the one thing that could tempt him to stage a ring return is a rematch with Mayweather.

"I've always been a scrapper, a fighter. If there was one fight to come back for it would be Mayweather. He's the one. Even after he beat me I thought he still showed me no respect. I'd like another pop at him if I had my choice," Hatton told the Manchester Evening News.

For now Hatton is a full-time promoter and won't consider a fight with anyone, even with Mayweather, until the hunger to take it seriously returns.

"I'm enjoying what I'm doing and I don't have a desire to come back at the minute," he admitted. "That doesn't mean I won't in a few months time. I won't make a comeback until I've got the bit between my teeth and I'm 100 percent again. I'm not going to fight the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world unless I've got the hunger to do it."
