Just in the round and a half that last night's fight lasted, I kept hearing how Williams was doing all the right things and actually winning the fight. This concerns me from a judging standpoint. No, he was not winning. Just like against Martinez the first time and against Cintron, he was throwing a ton of punches without much steam on them and somehow winning the fight.
Truth is in all three fights, he was leaving himself open a lot and getting tagged with the better, cleaner, and more powerful punches. There was a reason the crowd was erupting for every Martinez shot. He was putting his weight in his punches and landing the much more effective punches. A lot of people may have had Williams winning at the time of the stoppage, but to me that is just not right. How can you be winning just by scoring a lot of do nothing punches, while the other guy is landing great shots.
Even Manny Steward thought he was winning and that the fight was going his way. Am I blind? Or are people just mesmerized by the amount of punches Williams throws?

the way he spoke to Pascal was bang out of order just because him and his yank network thought Bernard won the fight doesn't make it fact or give him the right to basically say to Pascal's face that he didn't deserve the win and that if it wasn't in Canada things would have been different
first off bhop was knocked down twice if he wins every other round which he didn't then we end up with 114-112 which is what one of the judges scored it anyway
it was in Pascal's hometown and he is the champ it's common knowledge as a challenger you to do more to win bhop needed at least a knockdown to make a case for a victory if you ask me
Marquez was knocked down three times against Pacquiao but earned a draw outboxing him for the rest of the fight pretty much the same thing happened here only difference is it's the American on the short end of the stick and being that Showtime are an American network they made a big thing out of it when it really wasn't

Can't we all agree if Mosley catches pac with a flush shot on the chin it's going to affect him? nobody's ever called mosley feather fisted that's for sure. He'll use his footwork. If you watch the Pac Hatton fight, you'll see Hatton rushed right at him, while Pac moved around and caught Hatton coming in. Pac's going to be watching out for Mosley early on.
