I personally feel that whereas Luiz Collazo was a nightmare style of fighter for Ricky Hatton to have his first fight at Welterweight against, I think Arturo Gatti on the otherhand is the perfect style of fighter for Hatton to make a big impression against, go back to the old tactic of absolutely pulvarizing his opponents midsection.

Carl Froch should seek some advice from this guy about what happens when you talk shit about Joe Calzaghe.
Calzaghe will stop Froch in 5.
All the shit Froch talks about Calzaghe, and then you look at Frochs record and think "Who has he fought who Calzaghe wouldn't stop in the first 2 round?". The gap in quality of Frochs list of victims and Calzaghe is too wide to comprehend. Hanging his hat on a KO victory of an over the hill Robin Reid victim says it all really. I get the impression someone else is going to be getting raped by Calzaghe in the not too distant future.
Magee beat Lacy in the amateurs, and Lacy ducked Froch in Liverpool at the USA-vs-England meet (after seeing Froch KTFO Rubin Williams in 30 seconds) claiming a pussy injury.
Anyway, eat shit.
Go eat your mothers dick.
Nobody, and I mean nobody at 168 has a chance in hell of beating Joe Calzaghe. I hope this fight does happen, because just like Jeff Lacy, when Calzaghe has handed Carl Froch an almighty asswhooping, there'll be nothing that can be said other than random mumbling from a few embarrased looking faces on Frochs side of the room, just like what happened with that fat fuck Gary Shaw and all those nobheads from Lacys camp who all changed their tune and had to eat humble pie. I look forward to that happening with Froch.
I'm not a big fan of Carl Froch. He's no spring chicken, and all that arrogant cocky shit he talks about Calzaghe when he himself is knocking on the door of 30 and he's accomplished nothing of real importance, it makes him one of those fighters I watch just because I wanna see him get knocked out. He's now talking about fighting for the European title, maybe if he was early 20's that'd be a good path for him to take, but maybe at the age he's at he shouldn't beat around the bush, he should be going for a world title. It's funny when he talks all that shit about Calzaghe being over the hill etc, and Froch isn't exactly a young guy.
What I find disturbing is the fact that if Roy Jones wins, regardless of his performance he's likely going to head straight into a superfight (or should I say "Superslaughter") against Joe Calzaghe. I would find it hard to watch seeing a great getting severely raped and him being able to do nothing about it.

By the way man, what the hell happened to Tommy Morrison? He was a fuckin good fighter.
In February 1996, the boxing world was shaken to its core when ex-WBO/IBC heavyweight champion and
Rocky V star Tommy "The Duke" Morrison failed a pre-fight physical examination, testing positive for HIV. He immediately announced his retirement from the ring.
Now a decade later, Tommy Morrison plans to take on the Nevada State Athletic Commission that banned him from the sport and launch a comeback.
Morrison (46-3-1, 40 KOs) wants to return to the ring at the age of 37 and attempt to pick up where he left off nearly 10 years ago. But he'll be faced with strong opposition when it comes to regaining his boxing license in America because of his illness.
"I'm a young 37," Morrison said. "I didn't get beat up. Hell, I only lost three fights out of 50."
"I'm looking forward to fighting someone," he said. "I can do it. There's no doubt about it. It pisses me off that they won't let me, but I'm going to try and change that. There's no way they should be able to kick me out of the sport for something that's harmless, unless you believe the government."
Morrison is planning to file a lawsuit against the Nevada State Athletic Commission on the grounds of HIV discrimination for refusing to grant him a boxing license and preventing him from making a living as a boxer.
That Lewis/Bowe fight is likely what would have happened in the pros too.

I don't care if i got something wrong, but i would love to show you, that many of your favourite boxers hadn't better oppositions.
Has someone been reading Boxrec again?
Held the European title on a few occasions, been beaten whenever he's stepped up to challenge for an alphabet title. Should provide a decent but not too dangerous workout for Hatton while he makes those final few adjustments into the new weightclass. Also Urkal has only been at that weight for a year, winning the EBU title, and making once defense, against two relative unknowns, and fighting a guy with a record of 2-4-1(Jeez), I doubt Hatton will have as much trouble against him as he did with the natural Welter, Luis Collazo.
Hopefully Valuev will go to America and fight, or atleast fight someone dangerous in Germany. I'd like to see him fight Wladimir Klitschko, I think Wlad would beat him easily, box rings around him and not get man handled like these guys who are over a foot small than Valuev.
Sloppy boxer, missing a load of punches, just pushing people round and overpowering them is a boring way to fight.
That shit is too blurry to score, I can't even see properly. Valuevs entrance sucked major ass, I reckon someone with decent skills would literally box rings round him. Wlad will likely give him a beating.
Enzo Maccarinelli vs. Johnathan Banks can be the decider. Let's leave it at that. Britain is like 1/50th the size of America and still whoops its ass in boxing. Let's not forget the Olympics, Britain had a Gold and two Bronze, America had one Bronze, lmao owned.
I do not get excited by the thought of De la Hoya vs. Pacquiao, or De la Hoya vs. Hatton. These fights should not be happening. I do not believe for 1 second all the talk of De la Hoya weighing 146 right now. I think he's much bigger, and must weigh alot more than that. Wouldn't even surprise me if they let him come in over the specified weight for the Pacquiao fight.
It would be like Joe Calzaghe calling out Miguel Cotto and Floyd Mayweather.
Ricky "The White Mexican" Hatton. :haha:
Maybe Golden Boy Promotions are trying to get a hold of him. I see no other reason to make a big deal out of this.
