he's no 1 now and after Fury/Wilder.. the fact is even if AJ beat either Fury/Wilder, critics will still try to make him feel he's not done anything.
Not many heavyweight champions of the past hold the same cards as AJ in just 21 fights. If Wilder's been pressured to unify since he's won his belt in the same way fans is pressuring AJ to unify with Wilder for undisputed now, he won't have that number of fights (40) and still boasting of one belt.. The AJ/WD is going to happen AJ want it and am sure wilder also it I don't see one ducking the other..
Wilder has now gotten inside Anthony Joshua's head with his new high profile in regards to the potential Tyson Fury fight. He's seen all the love and attention that Deontay has received from the U.K. Fans and now he has become jealous.
At one point, Joshua thought that all roads led to him because he held all the cards and leverage in the heavyweight division. However, was he ever wrong? He was sadly mistaken.
The irony in all of this is, just as Wilder was preparing to move on without him, now all of sudden he is calling him out for that April 13 date at Wembley. He now sounds a like a desperate man and feels frozen out.
The realization has kicked in that Joshua just might need Wilder more than Wilder needs him; As there are no big fights on the horizon for him at this time. Two of the biggest names in the division are fighting each other while Joshua is left challenging mandatories.
lolz.. since Wilder/Fury been on air both fighters talking about AJ much more than AJ talking about Fury/Wilder, that shows who's gotten onto who's head.
1000% agree with Fury. “He’s been given hand-selected opponents and gifted a gold medal in his own country.”
Joshua has had 22 career fights, let’s go through the notable ones. It has been a well orchestrated career so far.
2015-Joshua defeats a 36 year old Kevin Johnson that already lost to Vitali, Fury, Chisora, and Char.
2015-defeats Whyte who only had 16 fights at the time, wasn’t a top HW at the time.
2016-wins IBF title against Charles Martin who won vacant title when his opponent injured his leg. Martin wasn’t a top HW at the time.
2016-defeats Breazeale who only had 17 fights, wasn’t a top HW at the time
2016-defeats Molina, who already lost to Wilder & Arreola
2017-defeats Wladimir who was 41 years old and inactive for 1 year and 5 months
2017-defeats Takam who had already lost to Parker & Povetkin
2018-defeats an undefeated Parker whose most notable wins were against Takam, Ruiz Jr., and Hughie Fury
2018-defeats a 39 year old Povetkin
was AJ already a top hw when he fought Whyte? and can you also analyse the names on fury/Wilder resume let's see who have the best resume......
AJ gets outboxed by midgets that are 6 inches smaller than him (Takam / Povetkin / Parker), imagine what someone the size of fury would do to him.
Fury would make him look like a 1 dimensional robot that he is. AJ’s only hope would be to land a lucky right hand.
AJ moved well against Parker and move better against Povetkin.... if you can't see how well he's improving then you just hating.
AJ AJ AJ...... one fact i have respect for wilder for is the success he have by using AJ name to promote himself..
he accused AJ of ducking him the very first time he called AJ out..lolz
Based on what though? Money? They both have money. Fans? They both have fans? I think they both generally have decided to talk trash about Joshua until one or both fight him. It's the game.
I can understand wilder when he trash talk AJ, but Fury it's just pure hate he guy doesn't like any part of AJ
A chicken that came all the way to the UK to sit Ringside at Joshua's fight. What does that make Joshua if he can't come to the states like a man and watch Wilder/Fury?
Do you think that Wilder would not fight AJ if Hearn offered him 50 million? GTFOH
Don't really get the understanding of Wilder's fans believing the legitimacy of the 50million.. Why no contract sent, why giving 24hours ultimatum to agree to the terms when there's not even terms to agree to, to me it's just bs, flat fee or not at least AJ team sent contracts.
Outside of the UK, there isn't a lot of interest in Wilder vs Fury.
But AJ vs Povetkin is going down in front of 90k fans at Wembley, will sell around 1million PPVs on Sky and be watched by more viewers in Russia and throughout Europe than all of Wilder's fights combined.
I wonder how that makes Deontay feel?
you nailed it...
So which heavyweight in the division can take a flush overhand right from Wilder, similar to the one Cunningham landed on Fury and not go down and likely to sleep?
wider right getting over hyped now, is it that all he need to do is just land right hand and the game is over? Ortiz took much of Wilder's right hand until the old man gas out.
one thing I know is wilder is going to land on fury, but the question is can he land has much has he needs to ko fury...
Fury calmly coped with a vicious gash and had to change his game plan and adapt .He did this and won a lopsided decision against a fighter who looked better than we gave him credit for. Had this have happened to Joshua I doubt he would have copped so well. The Hearns need to keep their attention with Joshua who has a real do or die battle with what they considered to be a easy touch.
Joshua fought with broken nose in early round against Tekam and Alexander Pov and won both by TKO, seems to most Joshua has been totally a bad fighter ever since he lost.
Wilder today: “fight won’t happen”
Joshua today: “I only want to fight Wilder.”
Americans: Joshua is ducking.
Wilder talks straight from the Donald Trump book of sound bytes. No matter if it is an outright lie, just say it and a certain number will believe.
****ing yanks, will believe anything if you repeat it enough.
team AJ keep trying make the fight like the B side, while team wilder keep giving excuses why the fight can't be made instead to negotiate and to Americans AJ is ducking?...
more like they are begging because they confident Joshua would probably knock Wilder out if not, they should be happy making the money with average fighters instead.
teejay2016
lolz I would rather warn Joshua of over confidence,
if not over confidence after Miller failed drugs he went on to picked a even better opponent than Miller in Andy, with just 5weeks to prepare for him.
you can't fuc****g do that if you don't have confidence tho.
Then shouldn't the "great" offer Hearn has sent been shared with the media? I mean they shared the 12.5million and 15million why not the percentage? If it's as great as they imply it would force Wilder's hand, but i'm under the suspicion it's not all that
no point in sharing the contract with media at this stage, not until Wilder's team come out and claim the contract is another low ball, but I believe the offer is good this time it's just wilder don't want the fight in uk.... IMO
