You guys got all into the debate about ticket prices, venue seating availability, the distribution process, etc etc, and kind of lost the main principle of the discussion. The point really being about fight contract disputes over who is the 'A' side and who's the 'B' side, and who's the bigger draw. Man I'm think I'm cultured enough to admit that Anthony Joshua is the logical 'A' side. Other Americans that can't seem to acknowledge this are discernibly unable to see through their bias and fandom. C'mon... If that's truly Wilder's objection to signing a contract with Joshua, I'm sorry but I see a problem with that on multiple levels. Somethin don't smell right about Wilder, and I ain't fallin for the pull-my-finger trick. :)
But rather than beat all that debate to death, since you brought up all the ticket pricing details...Damn those seats at The Garden are expensive ! Heck if I'm a boxing fan (which I am), I don't care who the 'A' side is, I'm going to see Wilder for 60 frickin 7 dollars ! AJ needs to do something about those prices, bruh. Form a sliding scale or somethin for the less fortunate fans, for Pete's sake. Damn. I'll call ya the 'A' side all day long, just help a brotha out yo. Anthony "A-side" Freaken Joshua, Homies !!!!
You won’t be laughing if the fight gets made, but I suspect it won’t happen, they have been avoiding the match up despite Whyte ranking. He’ll fight Ortiz and then a dead beat.
Which fight? Wilder versus Beetlejuice head? Wilder destroys Whyte. Are you kidding?
I like Fury very much and I feel like he boxed Wilder's ear off and won the fight. Nevertheless, I believe that he's yet to recover from concussion he suffered from that 12th round right hand. Nobody wants to take Fury serious anymore. He's not a man who runs away from a fight on the last minute. Fury is not a fighting man
Whyte,lol! Get past Rivas first!

Very possible, Wilders one trick is the same shot Klitschko caught AJ with and he wouldn’t get up if it was Wilder. But, if Wilder fights Whyte before AJ he’s gonna lose. I know what your gonna say, Whyte’s crap etc, and in general I would agree but stylistically he is bad news for Wilder. He is younger, quicker and better on the inside than Ortiz and Ortiz showed he was just a little old to beat Deontay. Say what you like, if that fight happens, AJ vs Wilder will never happen.

If and when they fight the robot will get knocked out! That's the only resume that will matter!

Just had a look as was thinking of going. Those prices are really stupid.
The lower bowl as you call it I can't see any seats for $100? The sections cheapest that is available is $300+? With the sides being $700+.
The cheapest seat i can find is $150 and that is in the nose bleeds miles away from the ring. Anywhere that is near the ring that is left is $2500+ and that is a complete joke.
Wish i got a ticket earlier now.
Get the nosebleed, and try to walk up?
I don't have plans to really bother with the fight (unless my brother wants to watch; the sports bar has everything combat sports focused), but if your interested in the show, make the trip. With basically half of the seats unsold or in the hands of resellers and basically zero US media making the hard push for the event, I doubt the staging folks would leave you in the nosebleeds for long
Lolx..... Your defence is weak bruh. You know not what you talking about.
AJ has sold about 27k tickets at 4X the price of wilder's fight. As at last week, they had about 3k tickets remaining which definitely be sold on fight week.
So take you hate to the pubs.
... Madison Square Garden seats just under 21000 people at full capacity for boxing.
How can Anthony Joshua have sold 27k tickets when he building only max seats 21k?
Madison Square Garden, on their official website, lists face value tickets for Joshua-Ruiz at $2500-$100 (with basically two thirds of the lower bowl still available for sale/re-sale, but that's another conversation, lol).
Is it now your contention that tickets to Wilder-Breazeale at Barclays Center were priced $625-$25?
Because public information already shows that tickets started at $65, and I'm fairly certain ringside seats got up to $1500 (can't say for sure).

I don't need Boxrec to know who he has fought. I have been following his career. His two biggest wins were against old dudes (Povetkin and klitschko) and the rest were against has beens or nobodies. Who has he fought that Wilder has been protected from? Povetkin failed a test. Your talking about Whyte? British bum!
Ok, I guess we'll have to just take everyone's word that what they are saying is true then! :D
Wilder was protected, by Finkel, from Wladimir Klitschko. After 33 fights too.

I wasn't referring to Whyte but since you mentioned him, yes; the WBC are protecting Wilder from Whyte. Whyte is a decent boxer. He would give Wilder, Fury and Joshua (again) a good fight.
I made a thread weeks ago with both ticket prices compared and it was 4x the price. No rewriting history from you, i'll bump it if you like?

So the hard back and forth Klitscho fight didn't prove he was a fighting man? Bull****.
After what Fury did to Klitschko, with Klitschko then sitting on the shelf for a good two years with no fights...
You expect Fury to say what about someone who Klitschko was still able to fight to a 50/50 against?
Klitschko
Povetkin
Whyte
Parker
Takam
vs
Ortiz
Stiverne
Breazeale
Szpilka
Arreola
It's not even close. Joshua has beaten the better fighters and has the better resume. Casual.
Povetkin is quality, Klitschko was at home ****ing Hayden Panitierre for two years after being befuddled by Tyson Fury (he's still Wladimir Klitschko, so the reputation still has value even though he was basically done).
Wilder has Stiverne when he was basically, at worse, #3 heavyweight in the world, Luis Ortiz when he was an unquestioned top 5 heavyweight in the world, Tyson Fury (if you're going to suck his dick for taking on Klitschko after Klitschko basically retired on a loss two years before, at least feign consistency), and a bunch of solid contenders (minus the second Stiverne fight) to round out the run.
Brits are hilarious
Foreigner sold more Tickets than Wilder at 4x the price.
How many Americans do you honestly think both tickets to watch Anthony Joshua fight? lol
Klitschko
Povetkin
Whyte
Parker
Takam

Ortiz
Stiverne
Breazeale
Szpilka
Arreola

Casual? I have forgotten more about boxing then you have ever known. I have been a fan since the 70's. I met Ali, Holmes, Tyson, Chavez, too many to list. All you british clowns have is Joshua. He has a 1-2 with decent power, questionable stamina, and not a great chin. You think that he can withstand Wilder's right? Your out of your fu..ing mind. Joshua will lose an easy decision to Fury and get knocked out early against Wilder.
How do you all have the energy to constantly argue about wilder and Joshua? I mean every day several
Times a day without fail?
Lol Oldskool. I know that I am wasting my time. Wilder does have flaws but I believe that he K.O's A.J. may be easier fight than most think!
