I thought I was the only one, LOL. He should retire based on the fact he turned a title shot w/Bradley for an ELIMINATOR, with Saldivia. Idiot.....
I doubt it was him personally that turned down the fight, hes got a huge promotional team behind him and theyre relying on him to make them huge money on future Pay per view events in the UK.How is he gonna do that if he gets his arse handed to him by Bradley, hell be right at the back of the que again.Going the IBF route is the safest bet for him,Kell Brook is not just a fighter hes an investment and a lot of people are counting on him to make them a lot of money.I think people like yourself dont seem to realize that boxing is a business first and fore most and these guys are looking at the big picture not the here and now.

Audley Harrison is an embarrassment to professional boxing.
He fights with an open guard, as if he has the skills of Roy Jones Jr, but without any movement of the feet or body. He's an open target, as first Haye then Price exposed. All you have to do is have a punch and, if you're not bigger than him, close the distance.
He's also evidently somebody with no self belief. If you think all that bluster over the years was just a sales pitch; you're half right. It was also an attempt to convince himself that he ever had a chance of being a success in the pro ranks. Every time he was saying, "Trust me, I'm destined to be champion!" he was saying it just as much to help his own lack of confidence in his abilities - because he knew better than anybody else that he just wasn't capable of competing with the best.
It wouldn't surprise me to hear that Audley got sparked badly in sparring early in his career, likely several times. I'm sure there's a story or two of that to come out. It would explain why the Olympic Gold medalist would fight a string of bums and bouncers and look like a dear in the headlights every time. It would explain why he fought with such extreme caution that he basically handed victories to physically inferior - but more determined - guys like a shot Williams, Guinn (previously beaten by fat Toney and Monte Barrett, and now a journeyman), Rogan (all heart no skill) and Sprott (Audley being the only notable fighter Sprott stopped in his entire career).
Maybe you are proud of doing it "your way" Audley, but that's like a clown wanting to be taken seriously as a performer.
Please tell me your Olympic Gold medalist or World Champion prizefighter? If not shut the **** up............Your opinion is null and void
Audley couldnt fight but he was a shrewd mother****er when it came to selling his fights, the guy made millions from his mouth its a shame he wasnt a better fighter because he was a likeable guy compared to dick heads like David Haye....good luck to him anyway
You compared Khan losing to Prescott and Garcia with Hearns losing to Leonard and Hagler. If you had used a different fighter I wouldn't have reacted the same way, obviously. Of course there are fighters who lost to journeymen and went on to become great but Tommy freaking Hearns is NOT one of them. See I had to put you on the spot and expose your stupidity for you to go back to the drawing board and come up with a better comparison. You should thank me, I'm forcing you to raise your game. Just remember, great posters have been schooled like that early in their careers and went on to have great careers. Will that be you? Who knows...
Well said man, comparing Amir Khan to Thomas Hearns is criminal.I also read someone comparing him to Marco Antonio Barrera aswell. If Khan accomplishes even a quarter of what those two guys did in his career hel be lucky.Know your ****ing boxing before you start making outlandish statements like that. These kind of remarks are probably the main reason Amir Khan is one of the most delusional fighters in boxing.
AMIR KHAN will know when to hang up his gloves.
And he insists he won’t be making an ill-fated comeback like his old pal Ricky Hatton.
The Bolton boxer claimed a morale-boosting 10th round stoppage win last weekend against Carlos Molina in Los Angeles and is back in the world title hunt after his devastating summer knockout by Danny Garcia.

How about you fight Lucas Matthysse in your next fight Khan, get yourself violently knocked out and then retire...do yourself a favor
will yall stop overrating this Matthysse dude geeesh now all of a sudden he's become a chatroom legend stop it!
Lucas Matthysse is probably the most underrated fighter in the division you moron, the fact that Khan is shouting about cleaning up the 140 weight class and getting a rematch with Garcia when he hasnt even beaten the best yet is why I brought his name up.Matthysse is mandatory for Garcia but somehow Khan will skip him to a title shot by beating Carlos Molina does that make sense to you??....
Your obviously not intelligent enough to see the point I was trying to make, but hey.....
AMIR KHAN’S new trainer Virgil Hunter has blamed his predecessor Freddie Roach for putting the fighter’s future in doubt.
Khan meets Carlos Molina here on Saturday night in his first bout since a shock defeat to Danny Garcia in July. He sacked Roach after that reversal.
Hunter will be in Khan’s corner for the first time against Molina in a make-or-break contest for the Bolton fighter, who has lost his last two bouts.

Hey Hunter you dick head,if you listen to Roach in between round 3 and 4 after the knock down he says to Amir "YOU GOTTA TIE HIM UP OK".Did Amir follow those instructions? The answer to that is NO he didnt and he got knocked the **** out for it.Khans ego is so big he doesnt think he has to follow instructions and its only a matter of time before he gets knocked out a again and theres nothing you will be able to do about it Virgil, then who you gonna blame?
Did Roach teach Khan how to tie up an opponent when hurt? Because I saw the footage of Khan training pre fight and as usual he was having no defence and roach was just watching on not saying anything.
We have to remember, Roach has had Khan since he was virtually a teenager. He was young enough to learn a new style and new skills, instead all roach really did was excaggerate the style he already used He hasn't taught Khan to clinch, to fight inside, to block an uppercut etc etc etc etc.
Roach has trained flaws into khans game, Hunter knows these flaws and will now try to train them out of him.
I know it's fashionable to Hate on Khan but the fact is he has the same flaws that pretty much all roach fighters have.
Maybe he can change, maybe it's too late, but roach certainly didn't focus on his defence and jab which should always have been the focus, instead he tried to make him Manny 2.0 when everyone else knew Khan didn't have the same punch resistance or power to do that, and should have used his height and reach advantage and speed to stay out of trouble and keep off the ropes
Khan should never have been an all offensive fighter he should have been trained to box
Rubbish!!!
Your basically blaming Freddie Roach for the loss to Garcia,it doesnt take a boxing genius to hold onto someone when your hurt in a fight and get your legs back. Those clips you see of Khan sparring in the Wild Card are 2 and 3 minutes taken from 100s of rounds of sparring of course Roach works on defence and survival hed be a ****ing idiot not to.Fact of the matter is Amir thinks hes better than what he actually is,he believed his hype so much that he thought he was gonna be able to walk through Danny Garcia and knock him out which wasnt the case.Im not saying Hunter is a bad trainer or doesnt know what hes talking about but he should at least let Khan take some blame for the loss instead of putting it on Freddie Roach.
Anyway Khan will be Knocked out again its only a matter of time and all this bull**** talk about trainers will be long forgotten and Amir Khan will have to hold the losses on his shoulders instead of blaming others around him.
is there anymore " magic man" boxing nicknames? so far theres tarver, malignnagi, and hatton.
I believe its "Magic" Matt Hatton not the Magic Man,the writer of this article is a dip **** obviously.
Look PAL, Brooke (that "e" was on purpose) has not been tested until now. He will fail. Alexander looked great in his 1st fight at 147. Alexander could have finished Maidana! Bailey broke the all time compubox record for lowest output, so who could have looked good. Brook will walk into the ring and limp out. He's out of his league just like Kahn is in the states. I stand by my prediction. Alexander by KO in 10------or less!
Why did you put an E on the end of his name?dont get it.if your gonna make wise cracks you should come out with something better than that because you sound like an idiot.Your talking rubbish man Maidana looked absolutely awful when he fought Devon,he looked bloated, slow and sluggish and definitely not himself.I put that win down to a bad performance from Maidana rather than a good one from Devon.Oh and wtf are you talking about with the Bailey fight?Randall threw barely any punches which should have made it easier for Devon, instead he made it a hug fest and nearly got booed out of the building. You need to get off Alexanders nuts the guy is awful.
And dont get me started on the Khan comparison,Im no Khan fan but are you talking about the same Khan that absolutely schooled Kotelnik in a title fight a guy Devon had nightmares against and probably should have lost to.
You really dont have a clue...
Alexander is going to have a coming out party against Brook. This will be the first fight since Bradley that he won't have to worry about legitimate one punch knock out power. Alexander has had time to get used to the weight and is as hungry for an exciting win. Brook will find himself at the wrong place and the wrong time. He will take the beat down that Maidana got times 10. Never seen a thread so one sided and so wrong. The crazy thing is that, if Alexander is so bad, why is he never the underdog. Bloggers don't know, but boxers know. Every opponent from Urango up to and including Brook can be quoted saying Alexander will be their toughest opponent ever. Everyone on this post will be quiet as a church mouse or full of excuses after Alexander beats Brook down and finishes him!
Alexander by KO in 10.
Alexander hasnt scored a stoppage in three years pal,in Brook your talkin about a beast of a Welterweight the guy is gonna look like a light middle on fight night.I dont think Ive seen Kell Brook knocked down yet and it certainly wont be Devon Alexander to do it,its gonna be a big puncher with a good ko record.Lets face it Alexander couldnt punch through a wet paper bag and your pickin him for the stoppage.Come on man your seriously overrating Devon, how many more **** performances do we need to see before people stop hyping this dude.
Your stupid ass got cornered and cant type your way out of it. Your Kotelnik comparison was a flat out triangulation theory. I used an example of a proven warrior (Paquiao)to show you how misinformed you are! The Manny vs Clottey fight was a great example. You say Manny looked great, but Manny apologized after the fight for it being boring. Clottey apologized to the fans and has not been back except for an under card over a year later. What you failed to mention was that while Manny had a crazy work rate, he took more punishment then Clottey....... I know you're scratching your retarded head, so here's the point. If Alexander would have used the same strategy as the great Paquaio, Alexander would have been knocked out because Bailey still has one punch KO power. The point is Clottey did not try to win and neither did Bailey. Clottey wanted to get paid plus stay healthy, and Bailey wanted to not get battered and maybe land another timed KO punch like he did against Mike Jones.
But here is the real deal. Brook has not faced one person considered world class when they fought. So you don't have a Maidana vs Brook, Urango vs. Brook, Matthysse vs. Brook etc. etc., all you have is a Brook vs. Carson 9 losses Jones. A fight he barely won. You simply want Brook to win,but you have no bases for thinking he will. There is no comparison in the two resumes.
Brook will run into the best Alexander ever. A seasoned and hungry Alexander that wants to put on a show. Brook and his team will confuse the tough fights with world class caliber opponents with himself and think that he can cause Alexander the same type of trouble. I think they will be dead wrong.:damnit1:
Wow :bsflag:
Stop repeating the same rubbish and give a valid reason why your backing a guy with little to no power and a ****ty ko ratio to knock out a big powerful guy like Brook.Like I mentioned before on another thread, your knocking Carson Jones but I guarantee he hits twice as hard as Devon, dude was knocking guys out at light middle weight just last year and Kell Brook took everything he had and didnt go down.Devon couldnt crack an egg at Junior welter yet all of a sudden hes some beast whos gonna start beating up and stopping people. He might hug Brook to death but thats about the only serious damage hel be doin.
You obviously didnt get those glasses
Kell Brook is going to win.
They're fighting in a pro black crowd in a pro black city
So Kell has to win by KO
I thought Brook was black aswell is he not ??
Anyway Eddie Hearn Brooks promotor has revealed that the judges are gonna include one American, one Brit and one neutral to make it an even playing field if it goes to the cards.
You don't get it because you're an idiot "Brooke" with an "e" is a woman's name dummy.
Alexander had grown out of 140 by the time he fought Kotelnik and Matthysse. And yeah I can talk about Kahn, who was out on his feet against the same Maidana that Alexander pitched a shut out against. Maidana looked awful because Alexander made him look awful. Before that fight, Maidana was universally considered a beast. As far as not having a clue, that my son would describe you. When a seasoned world class veteran knockout artist such as Bailey decides that he can not outscore a young swift and strong lion and that the only route to victory is a Knockout, that will be an ugly fight no matter who is on the other side. Unless (and this is where your stupidity shows) he can lure the youngster into a reckless firefight and catch him. Alexander's discipline is why he's the champ. You probably blame Paquiao for the ugly fight with Joshua Clottey. Clottey shelled up, refused to engage and the fight was terrible. Now if your logic is solid and consistent, then Paquaio is a boring, dull, no action, bum. Is that what you are saying? It must be, because your logic would make that one of Pacman's most exciting fights ever because the other guy wasn't punching back.
Watch your mouth! Everyone on here is not a shallow minded, unable to analyze idiot.
YOU DON'T HAVE A CLUE!
Alexander in 10 or less by KO!
Considering Brook is his second name and not his first your insult holds no clout,pathetic....
Dam you just keep digging the hole deeper for yourself,I wasnt the one who started comparing fighters I dont believe in triangle theories styles make fights not who beat who and whos fought who.Thats the rookie mistake you keep makin right there,I just threw the Kotelnik example outhere to show your dumb ass that styles are what make fights not ****ing triangle theories and whos fought the better opposition.
Now your bringin Manny into it wtf does that have to do with the price of oranges?I actually watched the Clottey fight live and Manny looked pretty good considering Clotteys negativity he threw alot of punches as usual.
How the **** can you compare a warrior like Manny to a spoiler like Alexander and Clottey to a faded old fart like Bailey.
Your theories and comparisons are ****ing retarded
Clottey threw 399 and landed 109 against Manny
Bailey threw 198 and landed 45 against Devon
****ing double figures right there, lets face it Bailey was pathetic and the fact Alexander couldnt put on a better performance makes me wonder about your ****ty prediction and maybe your eye sight aswell.
Do you wear glasses because if you dont you should get a pair
A Peterson rematch in the UK would be perfect. Amir gets the chance to avenge his questionable loss in front of his people. Peterson is skilled enough to push him and isn't a super hard fight where it'd be dumb for Khan to practice the stuff his new trainer is teaching him.
Questionable??
Khan lost simple as that
Khan is the face of british boxing. He hasnt had the most succesfull career right up to now. He has made loads of money and has crossed over. He would make a good advisor.
**** that,Carl Froch is the real face of Birtitsh boxing in my eyes.Amir Khan is just a ****ing novelty act and a cash cow for Golden boy.
Froch is still not a household name
I said Carl Froch is the real face of British boxing in MY EYES
Unfortunately HBO and Showtime would rather televise Khan,a guy that spends more time falling around the ring like bambi on rollerskates and lyin on his back than anything else.
Why is it funny? 18 months ago he was unified champion and Bradley had just ducked him. More or less nothing else to do at 140 so the logical step would be the money fight.
Feather fisted Paulie Malignaggi,36 yr old Zab Judah and a close call with Maidana where he nearly got knocked out and escaped by the skin of his teeth and Khan thinks hes done it all at Jr WW.Those guys were far from the best in the division,Jr WW was stacked 18 months ago and still is.
I can name 10 guys off the top of my head who would knock Amir Khan out at Jr WW.......
Well I'm also referring to who he has mixed it up with at 140 too. He may of not performed well but having been in there with Bradley, Lucas, Kotelnik, and Urango is a lot of vital experience for a kid that hasn't even hit his prime. I'm predicting a stoppage, not because of his power, but the fact that Brook being broken down with precision punching. Alexander isn't a great puncher but he's accurate and I think it will take its toll on Kell.
With that said, I really have no rooting interest in either fighter. Not a fan of either and just hope to see a good competitive fight, which I think it will be.
I hear ya,I do realise he has fought better competition but in saying that he done really poorly when he stepped up to fight Tim Bradley,he basically quit on a small cut in the most important fight of his life. The Kotelnik and Matthysse fights were both home town decision highway robberies,he struggled badly in both fights tbh.The only fight I really give Devon props for at Jrww was his ko of Urango but even still Urango isnt great, the guy is a face first fighter who relies on power.I really dont think Alexander is a great puncher,he throws alot of pitty pat punches Ive never really seen him beat down an opponent.Brook for me is the much stronger fighter, hes got the heart as we seen him fight nearly 6 rounds with a broken nose against Carson Jones. His punches are extremely accurate and he uses timing to counter his opponents. On top of that I think hes gonna be way to big and strong for Devon.Only thing that might hurt Kell Brook in this fight is his defence he stands a little too upright which could play into Devons hands but other than that its a fore gone conclusion.I could be wrong but hey this why we love boxing, anything can happen....
David Haye has confirmed once again that he is only interested in fighting Vitali Klitschko, and that he will never step into a ring with David Price.
The former WBA champion is still waiting to hear from Klitschko on whether he will take a fight with haye or retire from boxing.
The 41-year-old still holds the WBC title but is currently prospering as a politician in his native Ukraine.

**** off Haye
Bro! Re read my comments! I never said the guy was undefeated, and unbeatable I said he will beat everyone at ww, and his biggest threat is Floyd! GTFO posting videos of old azz fights!! You wanna post a fight, post his fights with Berto and Aidyn!
My eye,My eye :bottle:
You dont like the vid cos the boy your cheerleading went out like a *****.
Berto and Aydin are second rate fighters, you think Guerrero is gonna bring something that Floyd hasnt seen before or have no answer to??
Your out of your ****ing mind kid
You forgot to mention that Khan's defense is utter crap but ok....timing....I'll give him that....he KO'd Khan who constantly gets rocked and hammered by opposition...and Morales who's a corpse that should retire for his own sake.
You know that much about boxing? What would your coach tell you if you threw hooks like Garcia? Or you're just claiming stuff from your couch eating potato chips? Garcia throws ridiculously wide sometimes and if Khan is as crap as anyone says you are giving Garcia also too much credit.
Any fighter that throws wide against someone that punches STRAIGHT is going to lose if the fundamentals are there. ESPECIALLY if that opponent has a good chin as well. Just watch....once Garcia encounters a decent puncher with decent (not even good) defense and someone that throws straight he's gonna be in a world of pain. I mean for christ's sake have we forgotten he was struggling against Morales!?
Get the **** outa here with your fundamentals......
You sound like youve get your head up Virgil Hunters butt pipe I can smell the Bull**** seeping through my computer screen...
Bro I HATE ROBERT LOL!! "My Eye My Eye" I could care less about the video. It just has nothing to do with what IM talking about, and about His swarming style at WW! The last tie Floyd has seen anything like Robert it was against who? Hatton! Robert, is a bigger, stronger, better, more durable, version of Hatton! The last time Floyd fought Hatton, he did what? Punch and Clinch! It will be the same fight, except Robert will be a little stronger, and Floyd is allot bigger than when he fought Hatton! I know boxing.
Firts of all Ricky Hattons style is a style he used his whole career,Guerrero mauled Andre Berto because he knew he couldnt out box him and the ref was turning a blind eye to the clinching.Thats not Roberts style,Robert Guerrero is a boxer first and fore most. His style bares no resemblance to Ricky Hatton whatsoever, you really think Floyd is gonna lie on the ropes for 12 rounds and let Guerrero do that to him.Berto didnt move his head, didnt have any defence and basically let Robert do what he wanted,he was ready to quit after the second round.Mayweather is gonna go in there and make Robert Guerrero look like an amateur, hes gonna hit him at will and probably knock him out in the mid to late rounds. The reason I sent you that vid is to show you that Guerreros heart is questionable, hes not the warrior or unstoppable force you claim him to be.As soon as he realises he cant touch Floyd hel go out like a *****,you can count on it... :boobies:
