Fair enough...he's not the greatest fighter ever to grace the ring....but hes a world champion....a feat many thousands of boxers never even get close to. Is it because its Pacquiao...and folks are trying to depreciate him in order to oversell the competiveness of what should be a fairly simple win in his favor....or is it a ploy to undermine his confidence?

Turkey might bring the fights....but hes also bringing promoters who know how to grease the wheels of this corrupt system. That why he doesnt want to work with Tszyu....George Rose doesnt have the finances or international sway....and Canelo cant be bought as his own promotional agent. It seems Turkey wants the fights...but he also wants the outcomes.

I hadnt thought about it before...but after reading on people saying AJ -Hrgovic for the IBF strap after Wallin i was thinking...is it Hearns plan to take that fight and age Wilder out another year....or longer given that AJ could realistically start the "i've got a belt now" A side negotiations all over again?

Im wondering why it is that a lot of people think AJ can outbox DW to a win. I dont doubt that AJ has better boxing skills than Deontay...but that just means hes a better boxer. I personally think that AJ as a boxer is too patient for someone like Wilder....whose only issue so far has been his inability to absorb pressure. AJ coming for a firefight is a loss. Trying to out think Wilder is no plan either. Fury just weighed on him and clubbed him while he couldnt move. Given boxing space...Wilder wipes him out on the counter.

People often come on here and ask about which fighters had glass chins and its always the same answers. I'm actually interested in fighters who had soft skulls. I remember Anthony Mundine going out from a Sven Ottke punch on the side of the head. Any other examples of punches like that that maybe seemed like phantom punches but still put someone out?

Will it ever happen? Both the Tszyu boys are the same weight but different styles....and both young and improving. Could they grow into Charlo opponents on a double header?

So many on here saying Stevenson should move up instead of unifying because the other 2 Champs aren't worth watching. If they are such easy beats then why doesn't he just fight them both in the next 6 months...unify for legacy...and then move up for money?

Would it be fair to say that Povetkin has double motivation to beat Whyte this Saturday? Realistically he isn't chasing opportunity to become some long term champion...and he has already held a belt anyways...so his real benefit is in the double payday for half the work. I'm sure he would take the step aside and walk off into the sunset.

Based on the likelyhood Fury beats AJ...what do you people think about Tyson Fury becoming undisputed? My thoughts are this. Knowing Fury it's likely that he will retire. If Wilder takes the step aside for a guaranteed shot at the winner...Fury doesn't have to fight him he just can't fight anybody else. And if Fury retires the belts will get split amongst mandatories leaving Fury to claim to be the only undisputed of his era. That's why they need Wilder/Fury 3 first. Once the belts get split that's the end of the big money payouts. As evidenced by Andy Ruiz who got about a third of AJ money as the champion...unless you are the big 3...you aren't getting paid no matter how many belts you have.

I suspect there were plenty to choose from at ringside.

They don't just care about the fights...they care about the fighters as well. How nice was it that they sent those 2 dude's to go get Canelo a new wardrobe so he could look sharp while getting around NYC. Only other outfit I see doing that is Mayweather Promotions...buying chains and cars and stuff. It's nice to know that our fighters are still human beings after all. Well done DAZN.

By comparison both guys are super nice outside of the ring. Both have good boxing skills but lack the killer instinct. After Golovkin Geale declined very quickly. Will Parker be the same? I can see him going back to NZ fighting a couple of confidence fights and maybe getting sparked by a Lucas Browne type who isn't under the stricter US or UK conditions that big money high profile fights bring.

In the best revenge tactic available Deontay Wilder should fight Tyson Fury immediately. I expect the fight to end similarly to Stiverne 2 and remove Fury from the heavyweight title equation. No AJ/ Fury superfight thus declining Eddie Hearn all of those millions of dollars. Deontay definitely has to get to Fury first and there is no better time than now. Once that is done...refuse to fight AJ for another 2 years and make him fight 10 times to earn his 50mil before A siding him down to 25%.

Does Tyson Fury saying that he will be champ by the end of the year show that he knows that he is done. Does it mean that he knows he has to cash out in a title fight as soon as possible because he wont make it through 3 warm up fights? Based on his performance on the weekend he wouldn't beat David Price let alone a Dillian Whyte or Povetkin type fighter. I'm sure his playing around was a sign that he knew his stamina would blow out fast if he put in any real effort. Seferi was never gonna push him...but someone bigger will blow him out in 3 or4 rounds. Maybe he will make Lucas Browne relevant again.

I have been wondering of late wether the gypsy kings new lease on life and escape from depression has come about with the fact that I think he's soon to come out of the closet. I think that if all his bluster and anti gay sentiments were just a smokescreen...that would have weighed heavy on his mind and possibly caused him to struggle mentally. I say good on him if he comes out...but I'm not sure it will bode well for his boxing future.
