He boxed his best fight and still got decapitated. That was his ceiling.
He's getting KOed in the rematch. His chin has been deteriorated by Deontay now. It's softer in the rematch. And he will carry with him the PTSD of being smashed by Deontay in the first fight.
Wilder will walk into the next fight as round 13. No fear. He has Fury's angles and movements down now. It's going to be easier to land his Kill shot.
Is this a joke? Fury at this point of his career outclassed a prime Wilder. But, to be fair, Wilder is outrageously one dimensional, with the only thing going for him is his power and that literally saved him his loss.
Fury will increase his work rate next go around, continue his increase in conditioning and outlast Wilder, who easily punched himself out after the first KD.
All Fury has to do is apply the knowledge he gained in the first fight to the re-match.
Fury has a very sharp boxing intellect and now he knows Wilder's power and boxing limitations he will be even more confident.
Wilder on the other hand will not be able to make any improvements - he gave his best fight as a very limited boxer in terms of tactics and technique.
People seem to be forgetting that BOTH times Fury went down he got up and finished the round on top.
He basically ate Wilders best shots and spat them right back at him.
Fury will be the favorite, the question how will Wilder be able to win if Fury is in better shape next time?
Fury was literally in terrible shape, has only fought 2 total bums to prepare, next time he will be even better and school Wilder, hopefully in the UK.

Don't know what fight you or some others were watching but tyson was not at his best and I've watched all his fights. This was more to do with wilder having much less boxing ability and IQ than tyson - period.
Its wilder that you will have to worry about as tyson will probably be much better next time. Of course you can continue believing the mantra 'but it's 12 rounds, wilder will eventually get him' - that's gambling at best. If wilder does not learn how to box and pick his punches he will be done. Based on his performance and experience on fighters like him he won't be able to learn that. He'll once again rely on a KO, which to be honest is his best chance.
Andre Ward said it best anyway - very unlikely wilder goes for a rematch and he would be wise not too.
And if he decides to maul Wilder on the inside in the rematch then it's going to get ugly for Deontay...because Everytime when they were on the inside, Fury was ****ing him up in there
He will be even fitter and faster and more careful of those bombs...he only got caught because he made a mistake by clowning around with his hands down trying to slip shots with his head down moving straight back. He shouldn't play around with a big puncher like that and knows it now
:lol1:
I thought the same thing, man.
First fight- "Fury gets destroyed early." Fury manages to last the distance and win the fight in many people's opinions.
Rematch- "Wilder has him figured out now(despite losing). He'll beat him the rematch! I swear!"
:lol1:
People are crazy, bruh.
The highlight of the match-up is wilder's only chance of victory is a punchers chance.
He felt like crying when Fury got up. Am more angry with fury for allowing that KD. His corner knew he was winning on the cards, they should have told him not to engage much and dance around to frustrate wilder.
He had the belt on his hands and threw it away.
I am now a Fury fan after that fight. He's a good man.
I hate either fighter to lose. Fan of Wilder too. Heavyweight fighting is back. Fury must lean on Wilder on the Ropes pound his ribs put his weight on him them go to the center of the ring and box. Tie him up, land shots and put that weight on him. Then he gets the decision by utilizing the weight and size advantage and wear out Wilder.
Throw the right and follow it up with a left hook or a jab to finish in a combination. Fury gets out of harm's way when he bends to his right when Deontay throws. Leaving Fury as a non threat offensively
Wilder changes the angles on his shots. It's harder than it looks.
Wilder will land.
Only this time Fury chin is diminished. Fury's psyche in the rematch will also have a shadow of PTSD.
He was in awe of Wilder's power.

no judges. Trust me.
Tyson goes down for good. His chin has been dented. AND he's going to have shell shock during the fight. He's already a mental case.
Wilder so dumb, he needed a calculator to add up the scorecard and google to see if a draw meant he lost.
Except that wasn't him at the end of the fight is it ?, according to all of you who are still hanging of Wilder's nuts saying he was going to knock Fury out in the first few rounds and now you're hoping that he knocks him out in the next fight ?, you was watching the fight right or were you just knocking one out while staring at a poster of him ?, Wilder isn't beating Fury until he changes trainers.
The fact that Fury's chin just got dented in this fight. It's irrefutable.
The fact that Fury will have shellshock in the rematch. He proclaimed Wilder as the hardest puncher in history. it's because he's in awe of Wilder's power.
The fact that Wilder has the angles and movements timed.
Rematch is easier for WIlder.
