Vanes arguably beat Charlo
and this is why no one take you serious......
stop trying to prop up this weak ass opponent who never even fought at 160

OK so now told this event will not be an official announcement of @GGGBoxing @VanesBoxing but me and @ajrod are here so we’ll tell you what’s said. Still expect that fight to go down once signed. Don King is Vanes’ promoter FYI, lol...— Lance Pugmire (@latimespugmire) April 12, 2018
It's gonna be Vanes
The @IBFUSBAboxing won’t like it but expectation is @GGGBoxing is going to take a May 5 fight against @VanesBoxing @StubHubCenter on @HBO.— Lance Pugmire (@latimespugmire) April 12, 2018
Pending an official announcement of @GGGBoxing @VanesBoxing at event attended by HBO and @1LadyCecilia (who’s due on @StubHubCenter undercard).— Lance Pugmire (@latimespugmire) April 12, 2018
lol, expect vanes to be considered the next big thing by some fanboys here...
Vanes hasn't fought in two years, and he's a 154 lber.
I'm not sure how the IBF is going to react to this...
If he gets stripped, and he likely should, Derevyachenko vs. Andrade is a good fight for the vacant belt.

But you'd criticize him for fighting Usyk or anyone. You were criticizing him for wanting to fight Canelo regardless of the failed test. You weren't alone.
LOL no i didn't why are you making things up?? :lol1:
I would root for Andrade too :usa:

Not at all. Why would I be scared? I'd actually root for Andrade against him.
I am just saying after all this is the forum that blamed him for Canelo failing his test. Check back to the day Canelo failed and before GGG even commented on it. Remember he was quiet and people criticized him for being quiet and then he talked he was criticized for saying fighters shouldn't cheat. He'd be criticized if he cheated.
He'd get thrashed if he chose to fight Usyk next.

you realize that spike osullivan is ranked about 30 spots ahead of falcao, right? have you even seen that kid fight? just seems like ared herring thrown up, as if it means anything, to discredit somebody. "he didn't fight falcao doe."
"Ranked"? By Boxrec? He's at least talented and has an upside. Spike just isn't very good.
Falcao is nowhere near my preferred option(Yes I saw him fight...) - but if they insist on fighting on May 5-th regardless - then I'll take that over Vanes(Old, inactive, smaller men), Spike(Proven completely uncompetitive on world level), Munguia(Welterweight prospect).
Again - I just don't understand why any boxing fan would have an issue with another fan calling for best -possible- fight to be made for Middleweight Championship of the World?
Obviously Canelo rematch can't happen, not enough time for Charlo, Jacobs, Zurdo fights.. No one sensible expects that for May.
... but you have couple guys who say they are avaible(If you think they are bluffing, fine - but call their bluff then and no one can blame you).
- Andrade, Derevyanchenko, Yamaguchi Falcao, Kautodonkwa, Munguia, Spike, Vanes.
If you had to pick from that group - what would your personal preference be?
I think Andrade and Derevyanchenko are clearly the top fighters in that group/avaible, so I'm calling GGG to give them a shot.
What's the issue with that? We want good fights and we want best fighters to challange for championship, don't we?
Lmfao what??
All of those names are great opponents and would be a top 5 win on GGG's resume :lol1:
It looks like you're scared of GGG fighting them

What a dirty disgusting shameless bigot you are. Users want GGG TO FACE SOMEONE GOOD. Not someone with 2 losses already like Spike or Vanes who hasn't fought in what...2 years? Derev, Zurdo, and Andrade are all solid choices, especially a month out from the fight.
dude he's not fighitng a 168 lber, what do you not understand? he can't defend MW titles at anything over 160, and he can't just jump back down in literally 4 months to fight canelo again at MW. and ramirez is a big 168 lber and not making 160! f#ck!
stop bringing that fight up like you understand nothing about boxing, the economics of promoting a "world title" bout in las vegas, and an athlete jumping 8 lbs and then heading back down again. it is not happening! solid choices doe :lol1:
I still don't undetstand what's the issue with wanting Middleweight Champion of the world to fight best possible - and avaible - contender?
You said why Derevyanchenko, Andrade and Falcao aren't any good or deserving(apparently)...
So I guess you can't wait to see Spike O'Sullivan, Vanes or Jaime Munguia against GGG?
wrong, i literally said otherwise in my post you will not find an opponent you, me, or anybody else deems "worthy" in 3-4 weeks. best opponent out there is BJS and his promoter is on the record saying they will not take teh fight, and i went over why!
you realize that spike osullivan is ranked about 30 spots ahead of falcao, right? have you even seen that kid fight? just seems like ared herring thrown up, as if it means anything, to discredit somebody. "he didn't fight falcao doe."
Let's be honest if GGG fought Ramirez, Devreychenko, Andrade or Charlo next he'd get criticized. If he fought two of them the same night he would. That's just the way this place is.
Seems people were rooting for the fight to get cancelled and for the worst opponent possible and to throw it all at GGG. It's still comical to me he is the one blamed for Canelo's failed tests.
Lmfao what??

hell, i'd be pissed! but i'd be pissed at canelo! important, meaningful distinction!

Vanes just got rejected as an opponent by the IBF, WBC & WBA..
On to the next.
CSAC approved them, but I'm sure GGG will listen to belt organizations in fear of getting stripped.
