stiverne is as much to blame. dude was 255-260 and clearly came striaght off fo the couch. i ahve no problem with a fighter at the end of his career trying to get paid. but when you show up to fight a big puncher clearly having hardly trained you're asking to get sparked out. the sad thing is that wilder should be easy to beat, and none of these guys have done it yet. he sucks. Damn, so harsh. Wilder isn't perfect but even with all of his flaws, who else aside from Joshua represents a real challenge? From the few videos and articles I've seen, Parker doesn't seem too thrilled to face him. Povetkin and Ortiz were credible threats on paper, but you know how that turned out. Who else is in the HW division is capable of beating Wilder easily?

wilder vs the ref needs a rematch. he won that rd and didnt get any credit. It was an early stoppage, Stiverne has taken the Yoga Pose of death and was getting ready to bounce his face against the canvas and attack and the ref has to step in and stop it.

the ref put up a better fight :lol1: I thought the ref was going to pick up and body dip Deontay. Probably figured he might kill poor Stiverne...who should not have been in there, you could see it in his face at the intro. Good for the ref, he was protecting the fighters better safe than sorry.

This.... if ref didnt jump in Wilder would have got disqualified for punching Stiverne while he was down or he could have actually killed Stiverne like he said a few days before the fight.....The ref saved two lives there
