Early pay per view report shows @GGGBoxing @DanielJacobsTKO fight had buys ranging from 130k to 150k, according to industry source...— Lance Pugmire (@latimespugmire) 21 March 2017
Less than the Lemieux fight.
I wonder what the real Rick Glaser numbers are?
Rick Glaser already responded says 130-150K is inflated by promoters fight really did 110k LMAO
They were 150k. Glaser's numbers have proven incorrect so many times, thus no one believes him anymore. A quick search shows what the numbers were. The people who use the 97k number are usually those with an agenda. Not saying you have one but it's pretty easy to correct that disinformation if you wanted to.
I'd have an agenda if I looked it up. I dont care that much. I dont care how much the ppv does as long as the best continue to fight the best. The promoters can worry about the rest. PPV numbers should just be concrete that way its easier to build your brand
If the numbers for Lemieux really were 150k then yes 200k. I think the initial numbers were the 97k so I'm saying 150k initial numbers.

I couldn't find the 1 Million option, so I went with a laughable 550k.
GGG is a massive star! His fight with Brook catapulted him into the cosmos of the mainstream. When he shoots past 1 million ppv'/ sold against Jacobs, imma come back in here just to laugh at you infidels.
Viva Le GGG!
I wouldn't put money on over 200k. Boxing has been killing itself by Putting on mismatches on HBO and Sho and then putting on so many PPVs. The average fan has tuned out and I don't really blame them. Love GGG and this fight but this should be a glorified HBO fight, not PPV.
About 150k.... It could get close to 200k but I'd be a bit surprised if it did over 200k.
This fight won't get much hype because I doubt the marketing effort will be enough to raise casual interest. US boxing is in the sh1tter right now, I don't think GGG is big enough to pull it out.
during Floyd's reign people cried he was boring yet kept making him rich.. now you have a guaranteed entertaining fight and people aren't even expecting it to crack 200K.. that's damn sad.
