Faster hand speed: Pacquiao or Mosley?

Pacquiao was faster in both hand and feet

Purely on speed, not many faster than Manny

Paquiao has some of the fastest combos ever.

Pacquiao probably edges it in combination speed (like his 2 piece special), but Mosely could unleash a left hook or straight right out of nowhere to leave someone looking at the lights.

Even from 1:20, I still see clearly Pac having the faster hand speed. Yea that was crazy stupid fast.

Mosley by a country mile. Manny is fast, but half of his speed is him being all over the place, and punching before you are expecting to see a punch thrown. Don't get me wrong, he has fast hands, but not Mosley Fast. Mosley is up there in the top 5 fastest hands of the last 30 years. Just everything about Mosley is fast, his body movement, foot movement, everything is just twitchy fast. Only people I can think of that can really match him are Camacho, and Meldrick Taylor. Pacquiao is no longer as fast as he used to be. But when fighters joke that they fought two people, or an octopus, that tells you a lot about the handspeed. Pacquiao is all-time great fast. Floyd is all-time great fast one shot explosion and reflexes.

Mosley is fast, but saying he is faster than Pac by a country mile is extreme lol. Pacquiao is fast as well, but more so his feet. You make it out like he is Kelly Pavlik or Maidana type slow when you said country mile hahaha. Pac at 126 was pretty quick, fast hands but man his foot work speed is the most impressive like non stop motion he punches while moving. Its a different kind of speed. Mosley had the speed where when they would show the punches in slowmo, they still looks like full speed punches. Pacquiao is fast, I said that. But its a different level. Also, everyone looks fast shadowboxing, putting together combinations. But its the difference between really fast and once in a generation fast. Shane is Once in a Generation fast. Pacquiao is really fast. There are guys that are just on a different level, the Mosleys, Meldrick Taylors, Hector Camacho's. They stand out for their speed alone.

Both guys were buzzsaws with superior hand speed and superior foot work as well. I think Manny might edge Mosley in combinations but Shane's hooks were like blinding fast. Love them both in their primes and never tire of watching them work their stuff. Needless to say, prime RJJ was another hand speed beast. His 1-2 combination knockdown of Reggie Johnson was just stupid fast.

Pac is faster, those combination Pac can throw is blazingly fast. I think Mosley is possibly faster throwing single punches.

he's faster than Mosley. even prime for prime. a lot faster than the one That fought him and Mayweather, obviously. I don't know if he beats prime shane though. That man has been trampled over recently for his late career performances, but I'd pick him over Floyd too, prime for prime.

I think Pacquiao's hands are faster than Mosley's hands ever were. Mosley has good hand speed but Pacquiao has some of the fastest hands in boxing in my opinion. Fighters who fight Mosley usually don't say they were amazed by his hand speed while Pacquiao's opponents often say they were amazed how fast his hand speed was.

Probably Manny Pacquiao, he is able to throw more fast punches in higher volume. Mosley was more explosive, but you had to be right in his face for him to get going and start throwing those fast combinations. Hence why he destroyed Vargas and Margarito; DLH had excellent defense and a great chin if his defense failed him, but he went toe to toe with Mosley so he also got caught with a lot of Mosley's fast hard punches and he felt them. Pacquiao sacrifices power to throw faster, but he still hits hard even though he sacrifices a little bit of power. Mosley used to explode and throw fast and hard.
