Can anyone on this forum name any fighter on Floyd's resume where he has gone to such lengths in the negotiations to fight them.
Someone please name one.
I've never seen anything like this from someone who calls themselves TBE,..and the current P4P fighter on planet earth.
And he is doing it with someone who is supposedly "an easy fight".....
In my opinion if Floyd does not sign for this fight,...then he should lose his P4P status.
No one in boxing history has done anything like this.
Oh, that picture proves me wrong.
Ok, I'm wrong. Clearly, business between these two has gone so very well. They are best buddies and always have such wonderful things to say about each other.
Don't be a fool.
:lol1: you are drinking too much floyd juice :alcoholic
Arum was NEVER a problem when they were negotiating before... and when pac agrees to the testing and what not... out of nowhere floyd comes out "I dont do business with arum" "Hes not gonna make money off of me" blah blah blah even if floyd pays arum a step aside fee... arum is still making money off of floyd... its called common sense. You should give it a try sometimes.
I just can't believe Pacquiao is ducking Floyd by letting Arum ruin the fight. It's really a shame. I've never seen a guy this worried about a fight that he'd turn down such big money.

Floyd never made Arum an issue, that picture was in 2010 or 11, at cowboys stadium.
Floyd hugs Arum a nd says nice things about him when he sees him, yet now say its ARum?
Well guess what Oscar de la hoya says way worse things toward Floyd and despise each other but Floyd who claims he cannot do business with Arum but gives no reason why is willing to deal with Oscar who hates his guts, and even willing to get paid by Oscar, yet he say he wont do business with Arum.
Get lost already dude.
Now name a fighter who Floyd gives a hard time compared to Pac?
You do realize this works both ways, right?
They said he wouldn't fight Cotto. Cotto leaves Arum. Fight is made.
What you fail to recognize is that there isn't only one option. It could also be that negotiating with Pig Arum is the issue.
GET LOST with that lame crap Arum is not a reason he didnt say that in the first negotiations, its obvious Floyd is full of sh1t.
Larry Hazard the commissioner even laughed at that reasoning if any other fighter said that I would laugh too but you are so invested in Floyd that y ou refuse to believe he is scared so you even justify that lame excuse, did Arum rape him or kill a family member? if not there is no reason not to make the fight.
Blaming Arum is a lame excuse and you know it because if any other fighter used that you would say lame excuse he ducking my brutha. get lost.

I thought Bob was the one that doesn't negotiate through the media yet he opens his mouth every chance he gets. It's not even passed the deadline that PAC allegedly has given Floyd. To me that can only mean two things. They have reached a deal and this is just some extra hype to get the peoples mouths watering until Floyd announces the fight. Or Bob is bullsh1tting and he's trying to use the media to his advantage. If what Bob is saying is true I can't see everybody (Showtime, HBO, Haymon, etc...) agreeing and Floyd pulling out of the deal. Floyd's not stupid. He must be able to feel the buzz around the boxing community.
The entire world wants to see Mayweather fight Pac.
He will make over $100 million dollars for "easy work".
The entire boxing world wants Pacquiao to be his next opponent.
Not Amir Khan, Not Marcos Maidana, not Miguel Cotto. not anyone else.
The boxing public made Mayweather who he is and made him a multi millionaire.
Steven A. Smith actually said this^^^
If Mayweather doesn't sign,...and goes on to fight someone else,..Then HE SHOULD LOSE HIS P4P STATUS. Pacquiao or GGG should be P4P #1 at that time.
This is not even debatable.
***weather is afraid of humiliation.
If it turns out that Manny whips that ass, all his words over the past 10 years will come back to bite him and he will be laughed at for years. If Manny gives Floyd a whooping like Maidana gave to Broner, the **** storm afterwards would be 100x worse and Floyd knows that. He would get :peeright: all over.
I look at it this way.
This fight is supposed to be one of the "easiest" fights ever for Mayweather. It's supposed to be "an ass-whipping",.."he'll pick him apart",..etc...etc.
He's supposed to make over a $100 million!!!!!
All for such easy work.
4-5 years ago Bob Arum wasn't the issue,....it was the drug testing.
Then it was purse split,...
Now it's Bob Arum.
I can't believe people keep standing with Floyd. Even the great fighters are getting frustrated: Hearns, Lennox, SRL, Roy Jones, Duran,..Tyson, etc.
STEVE SMITH OF ESPN IS EVEN GETTING FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So how people defend Floyd at this point is almost a mental thing.
You're a true idiot. ...
Floyd is looking to make fat cash while risking as little as possible. He doesn't give a damn about the sport or us, the fans. All he cares about is money. I will never spend PPV money on Floyd Mayweather again.
Do you honestly think anyone cares if you spend any money on a Mayweather PPV fight?????? People like you need to STFU and continue to lick upon Pacroid balls sincetthat's all you have to do with your life. ..... LMAO, the things fools put out on a comment board about what they ain't going to do. You aren't paying for a Mayweather PPV fight because you can't afford to and you can't use your EBT card......What fool you are....

Floyd is a boring fighter in the ring. His net worth is directly tied up in being undefeated.
His career is a balance: Finding opponents who are willing to fight at a significant discount, are popular enough to satisfy his contract with the network, but pose the least possible risk of beating him while still fulfilling the first two requirements.
floyd's past few opponents have had excellent danger VS profit ratios. Pacquaio does not. He would be paid a significant portion and pose an unnecessary risk to Floyd's record, so he isn't the best option.
Great Post.
floyd's legacy is going down the drain. he is already the topic of all the boxing jokes. his legacy will be laughed at for a very long time much like the legacy of Joe Calzaghe.

What makes It even more humiliating Is when past great fighters have called him out on It. Fans, media and his peers all feel that he Is avoiding Pacquiao. The only people that don't are a hand full of Floyd nut magnets on this board.
It is really ridiculous. No one in history has gone to so many lengths, put up barriers after barriers, make at least over 10 excuses to try to avoid someone.
