You have HBO with Tim Bradley vs Diego Chaves and mauricio herrera vs jose benavidez
AND then you have Showtime with Amir "King" Khan vs Devon "The Great" Alexander. Demetrious "Boo Boo" Andrade vs Jermell Charlo. Keith Thurman is also going to be on that card supposedly against undefeated welterweight bundu.
So there you have it, two cards on the same city, same night. I think it's pretty clear wich channel has the edge on this one, what do you guys think doe, what will you be watching and why?
I'm still undecided.
The Khan-Alexander fight is more intriguing. But, ¿what if Bradley fights Chavez "toe to toe" like he did with Provo ? That could be a good fight too!
Alexander will defeat Amir Queen Khan.
Malignaggi, Maidana and Molina and after Khan beats Alexander, Broner will fight him to see how he measures up to Khan.
Whichever one has the earlier start time is probably the one I'll stick with and DVR the other. With the SHOExtreme portion now, I'll probably watch Khan-Alexander.
My favorite fighter out of all the fighters on this night is Diego Chaves however.
No matter what I say, it always seems to end up that way lol.
I expect the Showtime card to lack action. Alexander-Khan will probably end up like Bradley-Alexander, and I expect both Andrade & Charlo to be overly cautious of one another. As talented as Jermell is, man he can make for some snoozers (Hopkins & Ota). He even made a Rosado fight boring! Be prepared for lots of feints.
I wouldn't miss Korobov-Lee if that ends up being on that night, while Bradely-Chavez is going to get rough & tumble. Interested in seeing if Benavidez is legit.
Probably be jumping back and forth depending on what the start times are. I know the Charlos and Andrade are good fighters, but I don't really care if I see that fight. The other four fights (2 from Showtime, 2 from HBO) are all good. If they were shown at the exact same time, and I had to choose, I'd watch HBO just because Herrera and Bradley are a couple guys I really like. Plus I feel pretty strongly that Khan will win, and that means I'll have to be depressed for the rest of the night on account of knowing that Floyd is going to be wasting one of his last remaining fights on him. So I'd rather just read about it later.
Also this is very important. Oscar said the showtime card will go first then the hbo card will start right after he confirmed it with both networks. He's going to both cards
