When is the last time you watched a Floyd Mayweather fight, on PPV or not, and felt like you got your money's worth?
I think Cotto was a pretty good scrap, other than that, which fight do you think?
The Gatti fight was an absolute massacre and I loved every minute of it. That was the last time Floyd really let his hands go. He did it at stages against Hatton and looked really good then too.
That goal by Arsenal is a classic !!!!
Your entitled to your opinion! At the end of the day, I have to continue to be me! Tnx!
Fair enough, just letting you know that we get the point either way.
You do realize that putting words in capital letters make you seem like a douchebag right?

GTFO!!! The JMM fight wasnt made to do ANYTHING. Floyd didnyt even use his size advantage to overpower him or walk him down. He stood on the outside and outboxed the SHIET out of him. And he HIMSELF was coming off a TWO year layoff. Nevertheless, whatever happened on the scale, had nothing to do with the entertainment value of the fight. The Crowd LOVED that fight. And it wasnt a high volume screaming, do to brutality. It was just a wow factor due to the Roy Jones-like athleticism, and speed, and slickness. The crowd LOVED it.
Boxing isnt anything to do with two men of equal sizes, and skills, etc. All that crap your saying is stuff that your making up off the top of your head. lol People fight of ALL sizes, weights, etc.
Floyd was just a better fighter that night and he is WAAAY too good for JMM, no matter WHAT size they are. Floyd made him look so foolish that the weight simply didnt matter. Now if you want to say the Ghost fight was boring, I agree. People booed that fight for a reason. Floyd was slow as hell, his offense was one dimensional, only throwing 3 right hands a round, left hook was terrible, jab was awful. But Floyd RARELY performs THAT bad.

I thought the Cotto, Canelo and Oscar fights were all solid. Not epic slugfests but still good entertaining scraps

Oscar fight was good. I was rewatching it, it wasnt as close as I remembered, Oscar was pretty ineffective with his combos, so much of that Floyd didnt let land at all or let land cleanly. But the crowd when nuts every time Oscar threw arm punch flurries.
I was into the Canelo fight, simply because it was live. What Mayweather does is amazing and deserves everyone's appreciation, but I think the last time he was in a fight that I'd watch over and over again was the Cotto fight.

The only thing shameful is pretending I am saying something that only applies to floyd and then debating it. I'll make one more clarifying point.
In every fight you've watched when a guy his losing his corner tells him to go for the KO to win. How many times have you heard a trainer tell a guy who is winning a fight to do same?
As I said in the initial post, if floyd is ahead in round 8 or 9, his opponents have a choice. they can try for the KO to win, or they can settle for a UD loss. If the situation was reversed and floyd was losing-it would be on him to try and get the KO-not his opponent.
No figter that has firmly established a lead in a fight should risk losing the fight for the sake of getting a KO. A ko win doesn't count more or less than a UD win.
times i heard roach implore pac (even when ahead on points) to go for a close out - though this is not the same as a trainer imploring his fighter to go for the k.o - as a means to reverse the fight's outcome.....
think the term "ripe for the kill" is what it is.....
Every fight Floyd in I throw a block party and the house is packed we straight chilling on the grill. So I gotta say all of his fights are excitin. We ball out and get drinks, grilling, music and pretty much everything you want. The only thing that sucks is when they put these brawlers on the undercard. We aint tryna see that
Glad to see you back Stax....all your post are entertaining....lol
The only Floyd fight you can call exciting in terms of the casual fan definition was the Augustus/Burton fight it was a real back and forth mix up. and also the Chavez fight, anyone that has a guy coming at Floyd hard and he is willing to trade with them
Floyd had a slew of one sided scientific beatdowns that were non competitive like Gatti and Corrales.
Floyd is not an exciting fighter, he will tell you straight up he is not there to entertain but to win.
You just mad because your idol Orlando Cruz got KTFO. You only started watching boxing for him anyways.
Maybe Ballet would be more your thing!
Why you mad? You're not a boxing fan, you're a Pac fan. You've only been following this great sport for a short while and still don't appreciate the subtlties of the sport. You like the no defense, face first style of combat and that's exactly what MMA is.
