After the prescott fight khan has only fought light punching foes. His biggest win was against a pillow fisted mallinaggi. Even then he looked worryied when paulie hit him. Khan has superba hand speed and combinations but his footwork is very very poor. he leaps in to throw punches and against someone who has scary power like maidana i feel he may get caught if he does. i don't know--khan is looking sharp--but i don't see him beating maidana--at all---and i see him getting stopped by round 6---but if not, he can pull it off---khan's chin is too suspect for me to think any other way--no doubt he's more skilled than carlos--but carlos hits hard and has great timing with his pressure, and that's key in this fight-- khan has to keep maidana offset by timing his rhythm and keeping him turning--which is what he's been doing with roach on the pads, but it still seems as if he doesn't fully have it down--roach keeps having to explain to him how to do it perfect---khan needs to have that down--if he does, he has a great shot at putting ona great performance and beating carlos in embarrassing fashion--khan throws his right hand a little wide for me--he's not a sharpshooter like a calderon or mayweather jr---he's a good puncher though-- should be a great fight--but i call a stoppage of amir by round 6---

must say, all of this build up, khan hype, look at me i'm amir khan and i'm going to knock him out, it's all about me- whilst his opponent sits in the shadows, being all quiet and humble, does remind me of the lead to the prescott fight and how he conducted himself. fingers crossed the outcome is the same.
