According to BILD it's not possible to find a replacement for David Haye so the show to have been taken place in Frankfurt has been cancelled.
Vitali Klitschko is said to be really pissed and dissapointed in big-mouth Haye. Instead it looks like Vitali will square off against american Chris Arreola in October or November.
Pretty much all you can say. This is going to be a one-sided beatdown. Vitali will tee off on him.
"would" not "will" as this fight ain't gonna happen soon...I bet that we won't see Vitali in the ring again before 2010...
To you yes, You have an agenda and you're trying to push it through. I dont so yes my words would look like an excuse to the less knowledgeable boxing fan.
and the bottomline is?
youre giving excuses. not an answer

What question did i duck? you question require more than a yes or no answer, I call some boxing fans dumb because an ignorant casual fan is way better than a boxing fan who knows how boxing works behind close doors..
My mind is open, I dont care if a fighter talks BS in front of a camera i still understand that he doesnt have to go out there and sign a dumb contract to look macho, so if a boxing fan cannot understand that simple logic then they need help.

then why call some fans dumb if they feel pissed about haye? and you didnt answer the question. you could have said yes or no. but i guess youre ducking it so, im outta here

Who cares if boxing fans are inpressed or not??? A lot of fights happens and some falls through due to many reasons because it takes two to tango, Am glad a young hungry fighter like Haye doesnt have to sell his soul/career by signing a contract that represent a modern-day slavery contract.
If Haye feels he had a better contract on the table then he own nobody a reason for signing them and if boxing fans dont understand his own logic they can go to the gym, start boxing and challenge the Klits themselves.

my second question is, what do you want the boxing fans to feel after haye did this? you want the fans to be impressed?

Please don't generalize your own views to 'boxing fans'. A great many of us are actually able to grasp the fact that, in view of the terms of the contract on offer, it was quite legitimate for Haye to be looking elsewhere. It is also industry practice that, despite some of the ignorant crap I've seen here, he didn't keep the Klitschko camp informed of his negotiations with somebody else... you only do that if you think you could benefit from the extra leverage.
Vitali got too greedy, and was trying to shaft Haye on the basis that Haye had no other options. It turned out Haye did have another option, so I have little sympathy that K2 got shafted in return. Hopefully they will be a little more reasonable with contract terms next time - and if Haye beats Valuev there will be a next time. All the bad blood just provides more hype and more interest.
i didnt generalize. i didnt say ALL boxing fans. and the question is not even for you

Would have to ask vitali and haye why they couldn't workout a deal and what was your second question?
my second question is, what do you want the boxing fans to feel after haye did this? you want the fans to be impressed?
let's see if Haye sells 60k seats with valuev. Raycorey makes it sound like its just about David Haye. ppl came to see how David can back up words against brotehrs, but guess what - he didn.t and if he woudla talk bs agaisnt some decent HW im sure not even half ppl would come.
No i didnt, Yes the Klits are big in germany but am still waiting for a fight where either one of the klits sold out 60,000 arena without them dropping Haye's name in it..
Chagaev and Wlad did. Chagev is more known to german fans than Arreola though.
When did Wlad and chagaev sold 60,000 seats??? I seem to remember that everyone brought there tickets thinking Wlad would be fighting Haye but had NO choice but to put up with the chagaev fight.
Where have either Klit sold 60,000 seats without Haye dropping his name there in the past???? .
This is stupid. The deal for Vitali contained only one option as opposed to the 3 that Haye ACCEPTED when signing for Wlad. Haye has verbally assaulted the klits and has made obscene (yet funny) t-shirts and know he just runs off.
Haye talks the talk. He doesn't walk the walk.
The contract to fight Vitali was exactly the same contract as the Wladimir one.
The only thing this time was that Haye didn't sign it. Instead he opted to fight Valuev and should he win that fight he will be in a more stronger bargaining position if/should a Klitschko fight resurface. That way Haye won't get shafted by either of them.
All this drama only adds upto a future Haye-Klitschko bout which, let's face it, HAS to happen.
I think that most brits stayed at home. The germans likely felt that Chagaev was as good or nearly as good an opponent as Haye.
And those who wanted could have had their money back I'm sure.
Exactly. I wasn't aware of Haye's huge fan base in Germany, and refuse to believe that Brits who purchased seats purely to see Haye traveled all that way to watch Wlad fight someone else.
Germans, however, got to watch Wlad fight someone ranked higher than Haye (even still,) who was a decorated amateur and who fought almost all of his entire, then undefeated, pro career out of Germany.
Vitali/Arreola promises to be very exciting. Let's get it on!
