This was a really close fight, neither fighter did anything great enough for me but if I have to lean towards one side, its Diaz for effective punching. I saw Malignaggis head snapping back and twisting from side to side when Diaz would land, where as Malignaggis punches only looked like thumps. Diaz did good work to the body and I dont think I ever saw Malignaggi go to the body. I liked the way Malignaggi was boxing but alot of his punches hit Diaz's gloves or completely missed. Good fight.
