New York City, Madison Square Garden - Francisco Espinoza, the co-manager of Antonio Margarito, doesn't consider Saturday's outcome as a big revenge victory for WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto. After suffering an eleventh round knockout in 2008, Cotto got a measure of revenge with TKO win after nine rounds.

But Margarito's win has been tained after his handwraps was found to have a plaster-like substance before a 2009 clash with Shane Mosley. Margarito revealed that Puerto Rican boxing fans have treated him well and some of them are even rooting for Cotto to lose.
NEW YORK - The former four-time world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. expects tonight's rematch to prove that Antonio Margarito is far from finished and has a good chance to beat Miguel Cotto for the WBA junior middleweight title at Madison Square Garde. Margarito beat Cotto in their first meeting, in July 2008, by an eleventh round TKO in the welterweight division. Unlike many, Chavez doesn't believe Margarito's right eye is fully healed and he says the Mexican boxer has to fight smart in the ring. Margarito required multiple surgical procedures after injuring his orbital bone in last year's loss to Manny Pacquiao.
Former world champion Eric Morel (45-2-0 23KOs) is ready for his next ring appearance on December 3 at the Honda Center in California, as part of the undercard to the bantamweight bout title rematch between Abner Mares (22-0 -1 and 13KO's) and Joseph Agbeko (28-2, 22 KO's). Also on the card, Anselmo Moreno (31-1-1, 11 KO's) and Vic Darchinyan (37-3-1 and 27KO's) will clash for the WBA and IBO bantamweight belts.
Puerto Rican featherweight Braulio Santos, who has an unbeaten pro record of 4-0 with four knockouts, is scheduled to fight on the 3rd December in New York City, as part of the undercard to the anticipated rematch between Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito. The event takes place at Madison Square Garden, and Santos will face Tommy Garcia of Connecticut, with a record of 3-3.
Welterweight prospect Thomas Dulorme (13-0, 10 KO's) will make his first ring appearance of 2012 on the 14th of January and this fight will televised by Showtime, said the boxer who is trained by Jose Bonilla. Co-promoted by Gary Shaw and Lou DiBella, Dulorme expects to be active on televised cards until receiving a title shot opportunity next summer.
Former WBO welterweight champion, Carlos "El Indio" Quintana (28-3, 22 KO's), who hasn't fought since February, hopes to reappear on December 30th against former middleweight king Jermain Taylor (28-4-1, and 17 KOs), inactive since 2009. Jesse Nicklow (22-3-2, 8 KOs) was named as the opponent, but some type of issue may lead to Quintana stepping in. Quintana was scheduled to fight on October 29th against Jorge 'Destroyer' Melendez (21-2-1, 20 KO's) but he suffered a nose injury in a sparring session and had to withdraw.

The experiment became history when the tall 6'6 heavyweight was knocked out on September 2 as veteran Colombian Epifanio Mendoza (32-12-1, 28 KO's) in just three rounds. Negron had four wins at heavyweight after blasting a 9-0 record in the cruiserweight.
