Bernard Hopkins is at it again. During a recent interview with Lem Satterfield of FanHouse/BoxingScene.com, the 45-year-old veteran made some interesting comments reagrding the issue of race, and how it relates to boxing and the big fight between Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley, which happens on May 7 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Alexander: Khan is Not Special, Marquez is a Bigger Fight
WBC junior welterweight champion Devon Alexander sees nothing special about Amir Khan, the WBA champion. Alexander faces WBO champion Timothy Bradley in a unification bout on January 29 in Pontiac, Michigan. Most expect the winner to face Khan in the summer. Alexander doesn't see a reason to chase after Khan. He considers Juan Manuel Marquez a bigger fight at the weight. Marquez is expected to hit 140 this year. Alexander doesn't consider Khan a mandatory target after the Bradley fight.

Steward: Lee-Duddy Winner Could Face Sergio Martinez
According to Emanuel Steward, trainer and manager of Andy Lee, the winner of his boxer's upcoming fight with John Duddy will fall in line for a title fight. The deal is not yet done, but Steward says there is an 80% chance that Lee and Duddy will fight each other on the undercard to Sergio Martinez’s defense of the WBC 160-pound title against Sergei Dzinziruk on March 12.

Emanuel Steward, the trainer for WBO/IBO/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko, still hopes a fight with WBA heavyweight champion David Haye takes place. Talks for a July 2 fight recently fell apart. Klitschko will face Dereck Chisora on April 30, and a fight with Tomasz Adamek is close to being finalized for September. If Haye changes his mind on a July fight, Klitschko is ready.

Wladimir Klitschko: Don't Believe David Haye's Bullsh*t!
WBO/IBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko is not buying David Haye's vow to retire from boxing in October. The WBA heavyweight champion has made threats of ending his career by age 31, which he turns this coming October. They were negotiating a fight for April 30, which fell apart, and then Klitschko opted to face Dereck Chisora on the same April date. A fight date of July 2 was extended to Haye, who rejected the proposal. Because Klitschko made a deal for an interim-fight with Chisora, Haye refused to go forward with a July date.
