Former four division world champion Erik "Terrible" Morales believes Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (42-0-1, 30KOs) vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. (44-0, 26KOs) is a 50-50 fight. They are going to clash for the WBC/WBA junior middleweight titles on September 14th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Morales also warns that highly anticipated fights are somtimes very disappointing.

"I think that in [Canelo's] last two fights you could see the hard work, and he showed a lot of progress in an impressive manner. He has learned how to handle the opponent, to find the right timing to [throw his punches]. I believe that he has learned to have fun in the ring, he has learned to stay calm, to work a strategy. I see the fight as a 50-50 possibility for each of them. To me, what makes me the fight more on even level is all of the factors involved - age, experience, youth, desire," Morales said.

"But beware, the biggest fights and most anticipated fights, the most mentioned and the most publicized - have been a failure. What we see on paper is one thing and what happens when [it's time to fight] is another. For example, 'The Fight of the Millennium' - De La Hoya vs. Trinidad, it was not the kind of fight that people wanted."
