Fans can say what they want about Haymon and it really doesn't matter, it is about what the FIGHTERS think and who they choose to sign with. Where the TALENT GOES, that is where the fans will go! Fans can get on the internet and cry all they want about match ups, match making, boycotting blah blah blah we heard this all before and for years with Mayweather and how people are "NOT GOING TO BUY MAYWEATHER NEXT FIGHT" but yet he just continued to make more and more and more money.

I have learned over the years and I'm sure others have as well that Internet Fans are a JOKE and for the most part they're all Talk. They been trying to organize "Boycotts" of Mayweather and Pacquiao fights for years and they have failed miserable because they don't buy PPV's or go to the live boxing events anyway
You are a big joke of a fan in this sport. It would be okay if you're one of these fighters' boyfriend or something. If not, you need to switch to tennis or golf ASAP.

Don't know why these clown still don't get it. Fans are not supposed to give a crap about how much these fighters get or how well they're taken care of. It's not any fan's business.

So if you find how the sport works interesting that makes you a worse fan of the sport?

Why are you so hung up on what other people find interesting or want to discuss, and why do you have to talk down on it? Isn't that kind of small and petty like something a female would do~

Exactly. Promising guys coming up right now need to get with Haymon just to get on TV cuz HBO isn't gonna put them on yet & there aren't many TV opportunities outside of PBC. Most of the next big name cats are gonna be a PBC guys just cuz PBC is gonna be the people with the ability to show them on TV.

Random thought, HBO's yearly budget has been dropping since forever. I wouldn't be surprised if they stop showing boxing & switch over to MMA within the next 5 years or so. Would be a sad day, but I feel like the lowering budget each year is the writing on the wall.

Oh the promoters know it. Thats why TR & GBP are suing PBC.
Haymon competition is HBO, it is not other Promoters. HBO been the biggest PIMPS in boxing for YEARS, they got top quality fights on their Networks for DIRT CHEAP. Haymon is driving up the prices for fighters on purpose to effect HBO, not the other Promoters. If Haymon was out to put other Promoters out of Business then why would he be working with Warrior Boxing Promotions, Lou DiBella, Yvon Michel, Eddie Hearn and guys like that

The plan is to Organize Boxing, not Monopolize! Monopolize is what the UFC has done in which Fertitta Brothers and Dana White have gotten Richer off of those Reebok and Fox TV Deals while the fighters continue to make Peanuts.

You sound like an Entitled little B1TCH with all due respect. I respect what these men do for a living and I know it is very difficult so yes me personally, I prefer for them to make the most they can every time they fight so God Forbid if that happens to be their last fight at least they have enough money to take care of their family.

No I don't care what fighters make but one thing I will never do is try to tell a fighter how much he "SHOULD or SHOULDN'T MAKE". Just like I'm sure you wouldn't want somebody to come to your damn Job and tell you "OH JUST DO YOUR JOB, YOU DON'T NEED TO MAKE MORE MONEY". These guys are Freelance Workers basically, they have every right to set their Price and accept the jobs (or fights) they want. Who are WE to tell them what the SHOULD DO! Us being fans fan of boxing doesn't mean that we somehow OWN THESE BOXERS and can tell them Who To Fight, When To Fight and How To Fight

Stop being a Bunch of Entitled ***s and Have Some Respect what these guys do for a Living! God forbid if guys end up like Magomed Abdusalamov after a fight, will the fans be on boxing forums trying to raise money and help these guys out financially? *** NO! You ungratful B1tches will just jump to the next bandwagon and forget all about them!

Dude, it's no longer a discussion. It's about kissing some guy's ass in the business. Forget about the mismatches, his top fighters get good pay doe. That's all that matters. What a joke.

Yes that is the discussion, and plenty of people follow sports business. Money makes the world go around, so understanding how the money goes helps to achieve a greater understanding of the sport (or any sport).

That seems to offend you for some reason and you seem to take it personal that someone has a different take on the sport than what you want or feel is right.

To me that is a joke~

I think the Roster will continue to grow with more Big Names jumping on Board Eventually leaving the Competition without many options and without many top Level Competition for their fighters to fight. Without great dance partners it can get extremely hard to make money by trying to sell PPV's. Not only that but how long are Promoters going to be happy all being crammed on HBO trying to squeeze themselves into HBO's Yearly Budget

He already has his competition Cornered and Fans and Promoters don't even know it. They're all stuck on one Network trying to get dates from HBO and trying to fit into HBO's yearly budget. Lets see how long this last and if HBO will be able to keep everybody happy
Yes sir! He really is far ahead of the competition and the fans. Neither would have ever thought of putting a Chippendale dancer in the ring against Quillin. Haymon must be going for the 'Magic Mike' crowd. Roc Nation has a crappy concert before their fight cards and Haymon will have male strippers. He's going for a totally new and untapped market! Frustrated housewives!!!

What you seem to ignore is that investors will not continue to throw money in the garbage. THEY WANT A HEALTHY RETURN ON THEIR DOLLARS. Investors do not want to wait 10 YEARS to start turning a decent profit. Right now, they could make more money investing in absolutely anything. In fact, keeping their money in their mattress would be more profitable for them as they would not be losing any of it.

You constantly make the mistake of thinking that boxing is comparable to any major team sport or sports organization such as tennis. IT DOES NOT COMPARE.

We have been over this all before, because he will get TV deals that will start to cover the cost. TV networks are looking for content especially live sports content so it is not a matter of if he will get them it is a matter of how much he pulls.

What the investors are expecting is totally on the sales pitch, you have no clue on their time frame, and (remember we discussed this) as long as the value of the enterprise is going up they are gaining equity which is ROI.

This is riskier than putting your money in a mattress no doubt, but with no risk comes no reward. If this venture works out they will all be much better off than if they just held their funds.

I don't get why you think boxing is something totally special and different from any other sport content. Sure it has some thing that are different but it also has things that work in it's favor.

They could crap out though and maybe it doesn't work out with them going bankrupt. That is not the end game Haymon has in mind though~
