Things evolve, I don't have to predict the exact future.

TV deals are worth money once they have them and the brand name itself will have value. Anyone buying it would demand the fighters and their contracts. It is just a matter of the lawyers working out the whole deal, and both sides will have plenty of them.

BUT THERE ARE NO CONTRACTS!!!!!! Do you not understand that??? That is like making an offer to buy an escort agency but telling the seller that he has to have Megan Fox, Scarlet Johansen, Katy Perry and other top starlets under contract. You cannot sell what you do not have. PBC has no fighters under contract. PBC will not get any fighters under contract as long as they are contracted to personal services contracts with Haymon. All their contracts with Haymon as manager or advisor would need to be cancelled before they could sign contracts with PBC.

Can you not understand this? Without exclusive fighters, PBC brand name is worthless. Damn you have a thick skull.

Things evolve~ so because there are none there can never be any~. It would simply be part of the deal or there would be no deal.

It would all be part of the agreement, Haymon selling out would mean the contracts he has would be sold with it.

        Can you not understand that?

If Haymon was out to put other Promoters out of Business then why would he be working with Warrior Boxing Promotions, Lou DiBella, Yvon Michel, Eddie Hearn and guys like that

The plan is to Organize Boxing, not Monopolize!
Yea I understand the real competition is HBO, but TR & GBP are gonna suffer is all I'm saying hence them suing cuz they see whats going on & what they future looks like if PBC suceeds.

And I like the organize not monopolize line. And thats what boxing needs is organizing & not from some government entity, they need people involved with boxing to run boxing. I kinda see Boxing like some war torn country like Iraq with a bunch of warlords battling it out. Boxing needs an all out war & one entity to rise to the top & push boxing in one direction instead of all these lil guys pushing the ball there way for the short period of time they have some power. Boxing the sport will be better off when that happens. Its a no brainer.

In fact, keeping their money in their mattress would be more profitable for them as they would not be losing any of it.

You constantly make the mistake of thinking that boxing is comparable to any major team sport or sports organization such as tennis. IT DOES NOT COMPARE.
Of course investors want money, but they realize some games are short & some games are long & as long as the longer the game the more payoff there is there typically any issue for a shrewd investor. And venture capitalist are nothing if not shrewd investors. This was never gonna be a quick money flip & everyone involved surely knew that going in.

This is a multi-year project & if Haymon is successful the PBC will pretty much be running boxing as the NFL runs football, the NBA runs basketball & how the UFC runs MMA. I believe all those organizations are worth a 2 billion dollars at minimum. That means a few hundred million each year in profit so the money is made back quick & its coming in for a very long time. And if it fails I believe I heard its only 1% of their funds bankroll so its small risk for a huge upside.

Obviously every sport is different to some degree, but the thing thats the same is almost every sport has a centralized power structure. Boxing doesn't. There is a lot of money for the person who can make a centralized power entity in the sport.

Haymon has NO CONTRACTS TO SELL!!! The contracts Haymon has with fighters are PERSONAL SERVICE CONTRACTS. Haymon actually works for the fighters as their ADVISOR. The fighters do not work for Haymon. Can you not understand this? It is a central fact that is at the center of all the complaints against Haymon. It is a conflict of interest for Haymon to be a fighter's defacto employer as the head of PBC while at the same time being an employee of that same fighter as his advisor.

If you want to see where the future of broadcasting boxing is really going to be, take a look at this...

              http://bit.ly/1ITQEda

The following press release is from Golden Boy Promotions, which owns the near-century-old U.S. boxing magazine THE RING, its brand and the ringtv.com website:

The 'Bible of Boxing' will explode into the streaming video and Video on Demand (V.O.D) arena on Sept. 4, as THE RING starts streaming live fights on Roku, Amazon Fire and soon on Apple TV, company executives
              announced today.

As part of its first agreement, made with top-industry boxing promoter Golden Boy Promotions, The Ring TV will twice a month live stream Golden Boy boxing events, one being the hugely popular LA FIGHT CLUB series from the Belasco Theater in downtown Los Angeles, featuring some of the most talented up-and-coming fighters throughout all weight divisions.

The Ring TV is committed to building a robust ecosystem to deliver premium content to all screens and all devices imaginable - thereby providing all boxing fans with the ability watch live boxing, behind-the-scenes segments, dynamic highlights, powerful interviews as well as mini-fight episodes that provide the very best of full fights in three to five minute bites.
THAT is the future of broadcasting boxing, not television. Haymon missed the boat and is wasting hundreds of millions of dollars. I feel sorry for the people who will lose their money on PBC and will await the inevitable court case for mismanagement that is sure to come down the line.

Sports on TV aren't going anywhere, anytime soon and I am sure PBC will be working on digital over the long haul but first thing is first. GBP will have to invest a lot into that, if they want it to be that big. It takes more than throwing some stuff on the internet to make it work.

All his guys will go when it sells, like I said that is for the lawyers to sort out. The words you are saying are English but in fact all you are saying is meaningless because Haymon will advise his guys to go with the deal and I am sure the contracts they sign then will make it worth their while. Where there is a will there is a way and what you are saying will not amount to a hill of beans it will just be done.

Do you not get that anything can be worked out and sold. I don't feel sorry for anyone that loses money that is part of the game of capitalism, there are losers and winners by the choices made. If they choose poorly that is their own fault.

OK, once again you have done nothing but prove that you are a Haymon fanboy and that you think he can do anything he wants and it will turn out perfectly. You are totally ignorant regarding contracts, and you have no wish to learn anything. You did not even understand what GBP and RING are doing with their new offering and how it is light years beyond what Haymon has to offer.

You also know little to nothing as to how investment companies like Waddell operate either. It is not like they asked their individual investors whether they would like to invest in PBC or not, they had no choice in the matter. They invest their money with the firm and trust them to do the best thing with it. Maybe you need to follow the court case a little closer to gain some insight into how all of this works because you are totally out of your depth in this discussion.

Now you can go and tell Netflix that the Internet is no competition for television. You can tell the Emmy organization as well as they seem to be wasting their time giving nominations and awards to Netflix programs.

Like I said this is tiresome and you certainly have not taught me anything. Once again you are speaking English but you are still just talking negative drivel and I haven't even been that positive here. Like I said his end game is to sell out this venture which will include everything related to him.

Maybe it works great or maybe he goes bankrupt or anywhere on the continuum between.

You seem to have a problem with disagreement and taking things ten steps beyond what is said.

You are stuck on what you think, which makes your comments about learning very funny because you refuse to understand anything going the other way acting like you know everything under the sun in relation to the subject at hand.

One thing I have learned in life that someone so sure they can't be wrong, is more than likely wrong. You have yourself convinced this won't work out, and can't accept the other side of that it could in fact work out very well.

You getting angry, talking hyperbole and name calling doesn't make your case any more sound. Relax you will live longer~

Let's face it & be real. Boxing on TV isn't as big as some hardcore fans make it to be. It's the same audience on HBO that still tuned in to whatever channel PBC is doing a card.

National and basic cable TV executives and AD companies won't pay the amount HBO/Sho has put in. It just doesn't attract unless you have the big name in their. Big names that sell won't make as much $$$ on TV. They'll maximize only on PPV.

Thurman,Porter,Khan,Garcia are all soild names, but they aren't SUPERSTARS that people tune into and willingly pay for.

PBC should put their best solid names versus each other on NETWORK tv, then have those winners get a crack at Floyd. Hopefully one of those names can finally defeat the M.Bison of boxing and catapult themselves to SUPERSTAR status.

Again for those mega events, PPV is the only option, HOWEVER if PBC can put out HBO World Championship boxing cards on NETWORK tv with the solid names it has currently, ratings would definitely be higher than what they have now.
