In an article by BoxingScene.com's Francisco Salazar, his targets are Lucas Matthysse and a rematch with Ruslan Provodnikov (24-4, 17KOs) whom he defeated via unanimous decision in 2011. When told of Herrera's comments, Provodnikov said that he wants a rematch with Matthysse, who he lost a close decision to in a 2015 "Fight of the Year" candidate. The April 18th fight was an all out brawl in which both fighters received heavy damage.
