UK PPV means nothing, they pretty much put on every ****ty fight they have on PPV. AJ barely gets around 300k views on regular Showtime, cause his fights or any other UK PPV isn't worthy of putting on US PPV

UK PPV means Joshua earns 20 mill or more. Wilder fighting on normal Showtime means he gets about 1.5. So yeah, it does matter.

British fighters are earning more than Americans. You don't think American fighters would like to earn more?

You really believe what you're saying.....you literally just said Hearn didn't have time to get a venue and date for a fight his client wanted that would make Joshua 30M+.

He could secure a date and venue but that would have taken up more time. They needed to get the contract signed quick so as to keep the WBA at bay.

Wilder accepted 15 million to be AJ's next fight. The contract didn't say he would be AJ's next fight, so he didn't sign. Hearn confirmed he wouldn't be AJ's next fight. Wilder would have signed if the contract said what he'd actually agreed to.




But Hearn refused to put language in the contract guaranteeing the fight would be next.

And if Hearn was willing to make the fight next, they could make the fight tomorrow. Povetkin is only happening next because that's what Hearn wanted all along. Nothing is stop Hearn from signing the Wilder fight tomorrow to be next. He doesn't want to.

The Povetkin fight is happening because the WBA called for it otherwise Joshua would have been stripped. Claiming something else is nothing more than your bias being on show.

Finkel's story makes sense. Hearn's story doesn't make sense. Finkel's story was that he was going to send a signed contract on Friday with the date Eddie gave him. He was just waiting for the date. When Eddie finally gave him a date, it was April 2019. At that point, the Wilder side pulled out because Hearn was blatantly reneging on his promise that the fight would be next.

Hearn's story doesn't make any sense because if he was really willing to do the fight next, he wouldn't have publicly confirmed Povetkin as the next opponent when there was still at least 10 days to get a Wilder fight signed considering the WBA hadn't ordered a purse bid yet.

I understand why fans are confused. But if you know the ins and outs of the sanctioning bodies, it becomes very clear Eddie is full of it because that WBA statement wouldn't have stopped Eddie from making the Wilder fight. The WBA saying you have 24 hours means nothing. 24 hours or what? Or they'll order a purse bid? Who cares. That takes two weeks and you can sign Wilder in that time.

It was only after the Povetkin fight had to be made that Eddie said the next date will be April. Hearn was talking about Oct or Nov time for the Wilder fight.

A signed contract for what though? The date was blank and Eddie told them to put in April 2019. It's not like they had a contract in hand for October/November. They had a contract with no date whatsoever and they were waiting for Hearn to tell them the date.

What do you think of the timing of the WBA mandate? They had waited weeks and all of a sudden they couldn't wait two to three more days? Particularly in light of the fact that the only thing that was preventing a signed contract was a date and then you.

Are you saying Hearn made the WBA bail him out or something? You lot are making some wild accusations on here. Nothing what so ever to back it up though.

I can do the same. Wilder refused the fight because he has aids and he didn't want to run the risk of spreading it against a well known fighter. If it spreads against an unknown bum, Wilder's side have a better chance to keep it under wraps.
